Saying Jared Cannonier did good against Whittaker is a bit of a stretch. Whittaker won every round and even the round he got hurt, he knocked Cannonier down with a headkick and was on his way to winning a 10-8

Whittaker *feels* natty. He's not jacked, he's not really strong, his cardio isn't amazing or anything. He's just fast with good technique.

- If you have lifted heavy weights with intensity and eaten ridiculous amounts of food for an extended period of time, you will realise that almost all fighters are juicing because their physiques are easily mogging professional natural bodybuilders and they don’t even put most of their time into bodybuilding and do a lot of catabolising cardio. Also, a lot of fighters have puffy faces despite being 10% body fat (mineral retention from TRT). Nate’s correct, they are ALL on steroids and would win natural bodybuilding shows easy without training for them lol

Cannonier did not do really well against Whittaker though. He landed one good punch in the last minute and a few good legs kicks. Outside of that he got dominated, Whittaker broke his arm, outlanded him 2 to 1 and almost finished him with a head kick in the final round, Cannonier literally faceplanted and might have been woken up by Whitaker trying to ground and pound him. Cannonier got hurt much worse by that head kick than Whittaker was by that punch.

- True, I don't understand this sudden 180 on Bobby knuckles from guru. I personally think Whittaker's run through 185 is much better than Israel's and he's a clear number 2 in MW history behind Silva. Hot take to most though

- He could go on a losing streak, but not nearly as long as Tony's IMO. Max three losses and he calls it quits, hopefully that doesn't and he bounces back from this tho.

I think after Izzy finished Bobby, he is going to start fighting like Cerrone where they fight in a way where they are just avoiding getting KOd. Doesn't matter if they win or lose, they just don't want that humiliation

leon beats rob easy. how quickly we forget that middleweight is absolute dogshit. rob at 170 was nothing, while at 185 despite being undersized and chinny he still became champ. rob would be slower, less technical and would get counter when he rushes in.

- I think you worded that a little wrong, Rob smokes Leon. He’s a more impressive fighter, a bigger, stronger guy, and has better fight iq. I’d say first or second round knockout for Rob. Leon could get lucky, but that’s all the chance he got.

- You can say modern middleweight is dogshit, but when Robert went up it was the murderers row. That shit wasn’t the same. He did good at middleweight because he kept all of the advantages he had at welterweight(speed) while gaining more power and not having to drain himself to make 170
