Well I suggest you NOT to ship them. Nathan recently declared that he and Anna were not even friends. He said in an interview after Winter Olympics that he would cheer for Sasha only but not the other two girls ( Kamila &Anna) , he said he was only Sasha's friend. This is a very clear message. Besides I think Nathan knows (well I guess everyone knows by now) that Anna and Boyang Jin are friends.

@@goodfella1234 I think you are reading into it. Trusova sought out Nathan after the men SP. Nathan did not want to talk about the Kamila incident. I do not think he meant to slight anyone or state a preference. He probably commented on the first Russian women’s skater he could think of, that was not Kamila. I find anyone who ships Nathan and any of the Russian skaters to be inappropriate. I also think that a serious friendship between any of the girls and him would be inappropriate. I am sure that they have basically met each other at competitions and skating events. That is probably the extent of any friendship they have.

But for atheletes/normal citizens this should not be a concern. I am just simply pointing out that there is no real connection btwn Anna & Nathan off the ice, so shippers of these two would be disappointed. If you read the recent interview, Nathan said he would cheer for Sasha and wish her good luck in the next game, when asked about whether he would also cheer for the other two girls Kamila& Anna, Nathan said he would ONLY cheer for Sasha because he is Sasha's friend. This interview was quite shocking tba, but l personally think that is message from him to clear up any rumour between him and Anna, so no one would again try to ship them together like many US media tried to do. I also think it is made clear during Winter Olympics that Anna and Boyang have something going on, they developped a "closer friendship" I would say. Not a surprise if you follow Anna's interviews since 2019, she is not even hidding her fan girl crush for him. I suspect that is why Nathan made an almost rude statement to clear up rumours with Anna.
