Sully's opening up his old school action figure bashes. These have been in storage (some of them for 15 years or more) and most of the time he doesn't even know what's inside the storage bins. In this video, Sully opens up another box of 1/6 scale Vietnam kitbash action figures he acquired in a collection.

the flak jacket is a m55 used by the marines and the flag he is holding is a NVA flag

The chopped RPD was only carried by Special Forces MACV/SOG the best know was Gen John Singlaub he carried that weapon with the chopped barrel everywhere,

Yep, that’s my work (and it was indeed ZERT in Vietnam). The weapon was Warpaint Studios RPD - Marcelo made the chops and did a phenomenal job. The can on the back of the H-harness was a blood expander. The webgear was all ACE except for the shotgun pouch (I think I sewed that?) and the RPD drum pouches, which were the black DAM ones from a GK figure that a buddy had painted up to be a more accurate tan color. It was a fun concept to work on and I really enjoyed the challenge.

That looks like a custom RPD. For folks who think it might look familiar without having ever seen one, it has a lot in common with the "Chinese Assault Rifle" from Fallout 3 - especially the handguard.
It is the RPD. But a shortered barrel makes no sence on this. We got the RPD in the NVA ( Nationale Volks Armee, not the North Vietnam Army!) in the ex GDR.
@@janhansmann9566 It was a common modification to chop the barrel just ahead of the gas block in US special forces. It reduced the weight and length to make it more maneuverable in the jungle, and they were moving too much to need the bipod. You can see many photos with these sorts of modifications among MACVSOG recon teams.
Not my favorite period but I gotta see about making a Vietnam figure. That second figure is insane!?!?

He's Holding a North Vietnamese Army Flag. You can tell by the Blue Bottom And Red top with that Yellow Star.
