This honest trailer felt way more like a I personally hate trailer lol.
Seems like the guy had a rough past 10 years or something. Remember when these videos were funny?
There have been a few of these recently that just sound like the guy himself just personally hates the thing he's reviewing. Maybe he's burnt out?
@@ronanjager3829 you can just say you’re not fun
Yeah, idk, I usually enjoy these videos but this one felt like straight up hating. Idk
Like the Crash Bandicoot one lmao
Wife and I played this for hours on end completing every side mission and quest available. It was awesome. Hard to find a good couch co-op games these days and Tina delivered.
Sucks that PC players can't play couch co op like console players can, makes zero sense.
@@Talawn what? really? thats really make no sense!
Streets of Rate 4 is an incredible game with couch coop
@@adroitws1367 borderlands 1, 2, pre sequel, 3, and Tiny Tina's hasn't supported local co-op without third party programs/extensions etc. Pretty silly for a big company like gearbox to not consider something like this after so many titles.

Everything he didn't love is the reasons I play! 😂
I love the game
I was going to say the same thing. I feel like Tiny Tina is what makes this game better
Every reason you play, is the reason I hate it
@@shoshoncaligula5512 I hope you didn't stay up too late thinking of that
I don't care if she's nuts, if Tiny Tina ran an actual D&D campaign I'd definitely wanna play.
Exactly. I played those pen & paper games or table tops and I had more than one opportunity to laugh loud when the the story totally went of the rails (looking at the blue hat guy) because of the players and then thought back to my dungeon master times
I mean she made a kick ass map and a ton of mini's.
Same!
Correction that's a D&D campaign I'd want to play BECAUSE she's nuts. D&D is all about having fun and I dare anyone to say they were a more creative DM then her, voices and sounds effects all around!
Feel like I should tell you that Critical Role did a one-shot based on Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands that is actually DMed by Ashly Burch
>Trailer Man: "This game sucks, you should feel bad if you enjoy it." >The entire comment section: "Respectfully, you're wrong, but thank you for the memes." This is so wholesome to read through.
Captured exactly what I was just thinking. *Slow clap* Well played.
Everything in the trailer is Honest. So they're not wrong, they just used more reasoning before deciding their opinion.
Agreed. As a huge BL fan I was really sad watching this video, but now I’m good lol.
I haven't played yet and this had me worried, but I'm glad to see people actually like it XD I love BL (especially the OG DLC) I was hoping this game would be good
@@Rey-W Nah he's right, the game is just the same BL copy paste formula with the same copy pasted "LOL SO RANDOM! HEY FELLOW TEENS! REMEMBER THESE DECADE OLD MEMES?" style of humor since the first game. If that's what you want, its fine, but most people here are just mad that it's true.
Kind of surprised how much hate this one got. I've been loving playing this game, and the humor lets you know the writers do some TTRPG playing themselves (Looking at you Blue Hat Guy).
Me too, I honestly really like this game and find the story and characters LEAGUES ahead of borderlands 3
Same, it’s honestly my favorite borderlands
Not sure myself. Played thus game non stop. Loved every minute of it. Doesn't deserve the hate it's getting.

@@Spekor Uh... there's a pretty big difference between HGTs normal thing and THIS - whoever wrote this genuinely hates Tiny Tina's or at least that's the impression I got. Normally HGT mocks and throws out the sarcastic humor an witty one-liners. This is just non-stop insults and putdowns.
I can't really blame them. I also hate Tiny Tina. She just annoys the crap outa me every time she's on screen.
@@spectralassassin6030 See that's an opinion, and having it is completely fine. If the Honest Game Trailers guy had stated it that way, it would have also been fine. But this whole clip is pretty much a 3 minute long rant about how much they hate Borderlands in general and Tiny Tina in particular, and that sucks. I watch HGT to be amused, not insulted, and anyone who watches this that likes Borderlands or Tiny Tina would have a hard time not feeling pretty attacked. I honestly can't think of anything the Honest Trailers people have done that's so filled with spite.
After playing through heavy narratives that take themselves so goddamn seriously, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, the Last if Us, I cannot tell you how much a breath of fresh air this was to play a game that was only trying to be nothing more than exactly what it is: A Game.
Ghosts of Tsushima has a story???
@@adabsurdum5905 pretty sure is a fox petting sim
All of the other things you mentioned are games as well.
Oh looking though that list I thought Ghost of Tsushima also has Ashly Burch in the cast.
@@TYCOM125 Who does she play? I thought the entire cast was Japanese.
Wow, I was not expecting this much hate. I loved this game. If this is your example for 2010 game design please take me back to 2010 before all the micro transactions, p2w, and exploitative dlc please. When a game can just be dumb fun.
You know, I wasn't either. Tiny Tina is my favorite character.
Not hate, just facts. I would also like to go back to 2010 when Borderlands still had good writers, but that time is loong gone and so should be this shallow, mindless formula of gameplay and absolutely pathetic writing.

Good luck with that smug sense of superiority, may it be a balm for a life without giggling when someone makes a fart sound.
Tiny Tina is a lot easier to listen to than the alternative. Imagine this same game... but instead of Tina, we get... Claptrap.
this guy knows.
Talk about a souls like experience
Claptastic voyage was actually the other greatest dlc for Borderlands games.
or ava
or the calypso's
I had no idea it was Ashley Burch that voiced her. I thought it was Tara Strong. It's crazy to imagine her as Aloy & T.T
Tina (at least her Borderlands 2 incarnation) is the ultimate Ashly Burch character.
It was her first role! (afaik, her brother is a dev)
Not to mention an absolute babe.
I know. Mind blown!

Borderlands 3 left me expecting a lot of fun that it didn't deliver. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands gave me that fun back.
the only thing I'll give BDL3 is that it has the best, most fun gunplay of the series. Heavily lacking on.... literally everything else, though.
Too bad the game was less than 3hrs and the DLC is already getting released within a couple of weeks of the actual game coming out and there is far less loot in the full game then any of the other games DLCs.....Besides the "spells" just being action skills and grenades....Tiny Tina's Wonderland sucked and it should have been a $40 game tops for a mediocre game with no replay value, no boss farming, no true vault hunter mode, no chaos mode except for a cheap garbage knockoff that you have to earn levels from Chaos chambers doing the same thing you just spent less than 3hrs doing 1000 times in the main game.
@@lutherheggs451 The main story is short, but not THAT short. I powered through it on my 4th character, starting at level 1 with a bank already full of top tier equipment ready to go as I progressed in levels, in about 7 hours, which is not including the plethora of side content, endgame content, or really wandering at all except to gain required levels to continue. Did you even actually play it? Or are you just one of those guys that's so mad it didn't come to your PC browser of choice yet that you're complaining about things that don't actually exist to make yourself feel better? 🤣
@@lutherheggs451 less than 3 hours? That’s a bold faced lie
@@dogsbreakfast4952 "no boss farming" 🤣
This game is fun as hell, I can play for hours, which is crazy to think about because of how repetitive the game is. The story, characters, and crazy loot really keep you wanting more.
looter shooters should have high replayability, anything short is a failure
Minimal good loot. Story sucks and characters aren't respected. Nothing makes this game replayable besides different skill builds of which only a narrow few are viable endgame, which everyone else will play too
This game did something rare these day and delivered what it promised
AND it was finished when it was released lol
like a working crossplay? Right....
Game was boring af totally missed the mark
@Kill Bill don't you feel you deserve better? Borderlands 2 still outshines this, and they are a full 10 years apart. All the feedback gearbox has received by their loyal fans.
I really felt like it didn't. They played their hand way to safe it really didn't deliver on the dnd aspect it was just a skin of dnd. I really would have enjoyed a more complex class system. Also I found Tina to some how remove any humor from the situation.
I guess I’m a 30-year-old child because I like the jokes Tiny Tina does.I don’t find her annoying at all.

@@Christoff070 I played both and feel all borderlands games I've played are hilarious and fun in their own way. To each their own bud.
Man, this was the best Borderlands since 2
I'm glad fans are embracing Wonderlands but I don't like the fact that the Pre Sequel and 3 are becoming the black sheep of the series like Doom 3.
True. I went into this thinking it would suck without Anthony Burch writing. It's a fun game with some funny stuff and fun side missions... and much better than the dumpster fire that was BL3.
@@michaelknox3715 the pre sequel is so underrated because of the studio. Thank god for the Hansom Jack collection
@@Ocapela215 the pre sequel did so many things right, was better than 2 in a lot of places, and even has arguably the best borderlands dlc. The problem was that a lot of the maps just felt too empty and the endgame was bad. It was great for a playthrough, especially for the price in the handsome collection but it lacked replayability, at least in my opinion.
I just started it last night, barely passed the point of beating the first boss and making it to the isometric overworld map. I had more fun in that short amount of time than I did in all of Borderlands 3 and the Pre-Sequel combined. This is already feeling like the closest thing to Borderlands 2 in the series. That's definitely a huge positive in my book. After Borderlands 3, I was just going to give up on the series. I couldn't even bring myself to finish Borderlands 3 after all the Maya BS, and I've already been spoiled it get worse. 🤦♂️ I'd actually prefer the series just get rebooted, or go the Assassin's Creed route and make them like TTW, a group of adventures playing a table top RPG. Gearbox can just endlessly change the setting like Assassin's Creed.
Interestingly enough, I actually prefer this game to many of the previous Borderlands titles. I’ve even seen it said by many that it will be tough to go back to classic for Borderlands 4 after being able to use magic attacks and melee attacks that actually work worth a crap.
I imagine that the improved melee attacks will stay in the next game, just with a different look. It’s the spells that won’t stay, which is disappointing because I really love the spells in this game
Make an Honest Trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
Dang, I wish I could see the like to dislike ratio on this video. I'm curious about the agree to disagree ratio on this take
I gave it a dislike, this video is boarderline Slander, not witty or funny just all spite and hate, like the writer of this script has a vendetta against the Gearbox team and the BL ip
425 dislikes currently
@@crazymammoth Yeah I definitely felt it was overly critical. It also felt like they didn't take the audience for the game into account. Gearbox even said it was to introduce kids to the series that their parents play. Not every game needs to be a Horizon imo xD
I have hundreds of hours on Boarderlands 2 but this was probably the first game in years that I had to stop playing because I hated it so bad.
Agreed, it's the first video I've disliked ever. Usually, I see something that I don't like and just move on, but this felt like a personal attack lol
I love Tiny Tina! I also enjoy this game but I'm also a big Borderlands fan so getting more Borderlands in D&D form is fine with me.
Ashley birch did a collab with critical role to show a Real life bunkers and baddases, they have an official rule book and everything
Game is boring af no replayability gets stale quick killing same reskinned monsters from borderlands 2
@@Christoff070 I still enjoyed it but I do agree on the replay value once I was done I was like ok next game. I did do some Chaos Runs but it just didn't pull me in also the loot is crap. I played the other Borderlands games multiple times and always enjoyed it.
Also, gameplay wise this has been. The best Borderlands game since Borderlands 2. They made so many improvements. Yeah there's some menu bugs. But the shooting, class mixing, and spell features improved the formula for sure.
Didn’t expect so much hate on this video tbh. I have had a blast playing with my friends. I love when you make fun of videogames but this just felt like unwarranted hate. Idk
What I don't get is when people use "with friends" as a defence. Most everything is better or fun with friends but it doesn't mean what you are actively doing is actually fun.
I normally find these videos funny but this one just came off as too harsh. The games actually a lot of fun. There are references to dnd, pathfinder and other tabletop and fantasy games and media all over, including missions named after magic the gathering cards and the story is actually decent and full of fun epic moments. The gameplay is similar to borderlands 3 which is pretty much the only good thing about that game so now that it's coupled with an enjoyable storyline it's a pretty good game. I don't really understand why people are disliking it when bl3 was a LOT worse? The game also really grasps the essence of a tabletop game and has a lot of jokes that really reflect well from my experience playing them.
This, the only bad thing about Tiny Tina is imo the length of the game. The main story is way to short.
Yeah except most people don’t care about tabletop role playing. Couple that wankery with unfunny humor and you get cringed right back to Elden Ring.
@@Dynaman21 When you say most people you probably mean 'most people you know.' the game has a definite target audience being those that have played tabletop RPG's and it markets itself pretty clearly for them. With the growing popularity of dnd 5e that's starting to become a larger amount of people. You can't blame them for not catering to all groups when it's slapped on the tin that it's chock full of dnd references and will be all about that kind of play style. Also that's sort of what dnd is in my experience I've been playing since I was like 12 and a lot of the time it's full of dumb jokes, a least one player trying to romance everything for some reason and at least one dick joke per session. It's like going into a racecar game and being upset that all that happens is cars go in a circle.
Aww
@@someweirddog868 I actually prefer the shorter length. It makes playing alts way easier.

Man I usually laugh at these even for games I love because they poke fun at issues I cant necessarily argue with but don't ruin the experience. This just felt like they spent the entire time destroying a game I loved for the very reasons I loved it. A rare miss for honest trailers.
Gotta give tough love sometimes
Agreed. I loved this game.
Feels like they made it out of pure spite just for the sake of it.
They missed cuz you liked it and they didn’t?
I'm surprised by the level of negativity in here, ngl. The narrative is leagues above 3, I actually really enjoy the characters and the core game play is still great.
Oddly enough you just sold me on the game. Thats right up my nerdy alley all day.
I know having a teen girl with abandonment issues as GM will be the biggest YMMV aspect of the game, but jesh, everything else was great, not horrible as Honest Trailers tried to make this sound. From table top, 4th wall breaking conversations from the players and Tina, to when THE OCEAN EXPLODED, I enjoyed it. The only real negative I had was the fact every opponent is equal to your level, meaning your guns was going obsolete faster than all previous games.
i actually enjoy this, i hated that doing too many side quests trivialised content
This one is way off the mark. I haven't played this game yet, but Tiny Tina is my absolute favorite Borderlands character, and her DLC from BL2 was the highlight of the franchise. She's hilarious and adorable and pretty much universally loved among fans.
i think her narration is adorable

@@mapes87 yeah smosh are now owned by Rhett and Link. The people from Good Mythical Morning

I had to go watch a couple of reviews for the game after this. This made me think it was worse than Borderlands 3. I'm happy to hear this is actually not that bad. Edit: The comments are completely opposite of the video lol why did this get so much hate?
The review came across very much like “out of touch old man” I think whoever wrote this doesn’t like borderlands or DnD, if so idk why they bought the game. That would be like me hating dark souls then saying elden ring sucked
The main gripe that does have a point is that it's basically a reskinned Borderlands game. If you love Borderlands, you'll probably like this a lot. Anyway, Honest Trailers is almost always pretty snarky and focuses on the negatives. They'll make any movie or game sound worse than it actually is. It'd be cool if they alternated between Wonderlands and Borderlands titles. BL4, Wonderlands 2, BL5, Wonderlands 3, etc. That's assuming they don't mix things up and have a new IP (or their own take on an existing property) that's different but also very fun. Gearbox HAS been kind of milking the Borderlands cash cow at the expense of trying to do different things.
Hate gets more views and engagement of us in the comments.
Because it’s actually a good game and succeeds with the fans in all of the ways BL3 did not.
@@ThatSoddingGamer do you REMEMBER when they tried to make another game? They almost had to shut their doors for good lmao

Say what you want, I love Wonderlands!! It's just stupid fun!! Blowing stuff up with Magic, and Guns. Goofy ass dialogue. Horizon is definitely more of an in-depth journey, but the fact that Ashly Burch voices both the beloved Tiny Tina AND Aloy, just proves her talent!!!
Wow. I generally enjoy the "Honest Trailers" brand because it's critical, but fair, with some funny jokes to go along with it. This was just a downer to watch as someone who enjoys the game. This just felt aggressively mean-spirited.
100% agree. Usually there is a clever observation or a funny random take on the subject. This was more like a high school kid started their own youtube channel to be way overly critical on popular things so people will think they are smart and edgy.
Know someone who worked on the game. He’s proud of the game and his work testing it. The thing is Borderlands is unashamedly a very silly pew pew game. It has pretty colorful environments, purposefully juvenile humor, and pretty good gun mechanics and gameplay. It’s designed to relax and have fun shooting bullet piñatas with yo buds till they confetti pop while completely goofy characters shoot off quips and exposition. It’s not supposed to be “The Last of Us”. I could ultimately watch this fine if I were him, I’d know very critical responses like this aren’t something to feel down about. It’s like the three stooges; if you judge it by clever sophistication like Monty Python then yeah, it’s not that. It *is* however, a good time with the boys or something you can relax with after work. If you were incapable of appreciating the value of things like Classic books, the recent God of War, Citizen Kane etc, and this was the only kind of entertainment you liked, then that’s the perspective of this trailer. Im thick skinned, he’s thick skinned, this is harsh, but so what? Don’t involve your ego.
@@Jackbarrany I'm very confused by this? I don't think I've involved my ego here at all. I don't even particularly agree with your assessment of the perspective of the video: honest trailers and game trailers cover juvenile subject matter regularly with wit and charm. I just think this particular video is mean-spirited.
@@Jackbarrany I think you missed the point. Honest trailers and honest game trailers arent review channels. They are more comedy even parody driven with their content. This video, wether you liked(or worked on) the game aside, lacked any of the normal comedic takes and funny observations honest trailers is known for. Instead of adding any kind of humor to this video they chose a weird direction of attacking the audience for playing it.
@@ZixaphirMoxphar I mean ego in the technical sense like sense of identity and self. “It was a downer to watch as someone who enjoys the game”- I mean your letting a criticism get personal if it’s a downer “as someone who enjoys the game”. Maybe is mean-spirited? You ever consume media you thought deserved a good bashing? They felt that way here. I think if we like and agree with things a channel puts out and they then go full out on something we liked people often get down about it. I’m both a happier person and get much more personally when I make efforts to notice when I’m starting to involve my feelings in harsh a critique, and consciously reorient myself. Example: I like Kingdom Hearts 1 a lot. I really like aspects of the series going forward, but consider the story writing to be laughably garbage. Most Kingdom hearts fans cannot separate their sentimental attachment and nostalgia for the series while talking about it, so they say it’s just “complicated” or if being generous “convoluted”. I understand the plot for all its holes and retcons, and I can appreciate what many would call very convoluted plots so long as they weave together well and without egregious holes, retcons, or deus ex machinias, it’s garbage because it fails on so many criteria. But I can enjoy the game for its charms and (sorta) accept that, not get offended by it. Which is better? That, or feeling down and perceiving someone is attacking my taste for something I enjoy.
I'm getting the slight sense that you guys just don't like playing video games anymore 😂
And so am i, i just give up.
Absolutely love this game. It’s so much fun. Even with some flaws storywise it does not take away from the fantastic and smooth game play. Fantastic. Also Tiny Tina is one of the most liked borderlands characters if not THE most liked.
Honestly; the most fun I’ve had with a video game since Halo 2. Plus in a world that has forgotten all about couch co-op it’s so refreshing and fun. This is in my opinion the direction FPS games should be going.

Big facts
I like Honest Trailers sometimes, but I think you're pretty off base on this one. It's a good game with some noticeable improvements to boss design. I wonder what that dislike count is like...
It's decent but it does have some flaws. However the main issue with this game is its dlc.

Judging by this one, the review for PvZ would be glowing.
My favorite borderlands game by far and among my favorite games to come out in the last 5 years. One of the only games to take my attention away from OW or WoW.
See, I've been telling people BL2 and Wonderland are almost tied for best of the series for me. So good. The spells are fun as hell and i like the dual class system.
This game completely ruined the borderlands franchise. Unlike bl2. Dantics does a good review on it on his channel
You know, i used to love this channel, and i still do, im not gonna let one video that i dont agree with ruin it. Iv honestly only seen good things for this game, this is the first somewhat negative review iv seen.
I liked the game tbh
Can’t say I liked the series, just thought the games suffered from the writing and some designs. But if you liked borderlands then you’ll like this game. The spell mechanics are a nice edition and the class abilities are balanced. Co-op does make the experience more bearable for me, as I’m sure these games are meant to be played with friends anyway. Have fun.
Finally a good point. Not just straight up hating the game for no reason. Good on you man.
This game really has a lot of flaws but it is actually quite fun. I just dislike Gearbox not doing their proper homework and "adjusting" game through hotfix which does not even make sense. Most of the content creators also not getting why Gearbox doing so. And as Joltz said, the players of Wonderlands are dropping so fast recently. Probably due to the hotfix and also they are not fixing the bugs... some players are just losing their patience waiting for the proper fix. And some are irritating by the nerfs.
Tiny Tina did nothing wrong.
But this is easily the best Borderlands so far 🥺 also I'm surprised you didn't rif on the BBEG being literally Bojack Horseman
I know right? Bojack Dragonman was right there!
Kirkland brand Matt Mercer? Is that like a 12 pack of Matt Mercer cellophane shrink wrapped together on a cardboard pallet for $12.95?
I've been playing through it with a couple of mates, had a great time so far.
I mean this trailer is not your best, its way too critical of what people like about the series. But hey if a rainbow unicorn made of diamonds isn't enough for you idk what is.
I don't know how many weeks I've been trying this (a lot) but I am not giving up until the dream is real: Do SimCity! SimCity! SimCity! SimCity!
ya did this one dirty, i thought this game was really fun and worth it. and had aspects added to make it so, it is still boarderlands tho so if u don't like the pervious ones don't get this one.
Do The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Hell yeah, we need it
He definitely needs to do it before Starfield is released
I never am disappointed with the BL franchise, even BL: TPS. One of the only studios I preorder with confidence. Edit: Oh the fact that they all made this in their homes during Covid, many props. I have no complaints.
Hot take...I liked this more than Forbidden West. Not that FW was a bad game, but just generally had a more fun time with TTW (cooperative content helped with that). I felt in this video that your humor about Wonderlands fell more flat than the humor in Wonderlands.
Not a hot take at all, completely agree with you
The only hot take is pretending that FW wasn't a bad game.
Phenomenal game. Love Tiny Tina's chaotic humor
I've liked and loved all the Borderlands games. And they all feel the same to me with slight variations here and there and I'm ok with that. This looks the most "different", definitely giving it a shot!
I absolutely love this game. It’s a great smash up of D&D and Borderlands. Not everything needs to be grueling, try hard, Elden Ring stuff.
Some times you just want to have fun.
I'm not gonna lie guys. This game has been a grand time. I for one really enjoy tina's humor. That cabbage has me dying every time I hop on
Game gets stale and boring after more than one playthrough.
@@Christoff070 that’s how you feel and it’s understandable but a lot of others (including myself) not only enjoy playing through the game more than once, but also experimenting with lots of different builds
@@idontlike5pies only a few viable builds work in endgame. Let me know if you can stand playing through it a third or fourth time.
@@Christoff070 everyone finds their own worth in a game for the price tag. if you found it annoying or boring after your first playthrough thats fine mate. other people dont. im one of them. ive played through twice because i really like stabbo and grave. i may playthrough for another class but im having fun playing endgame stuff for my classes. sorry you couldnt enjoy the game more tho bruv. maybe youd like destiny or something
@@idontlike5pies nothing about this game makes it replayable besides the different skill builds. Monsters are just reskins of bl2 monsters, legendary loot pool is tiny, UI sucks, dialog and story is boring and characters feel one-dimensional but if you enjoy that go for it
For Ed Jasper, say "We need people. We got money. We don't have people."
Please say prepare for trouble and make it double.
Honestly this game was breath of fresh air. A game that is a light take on a heavy genre (RPG, fantasy) And a focus on couch coop. My GF never gamed before other than Mario kart but now she’s addicted to this game and I find her playing it herself when I get home from work (even though she knows she’s passing me in levels!)
I mean the humor is the same as Borderlands 2. Why are you suddenly annoyed by it when it's the same damn thing?
Personally? The last 10 years have jaded me enough that the poo poo fart jokes I enjoyed in high school, just don't get a laugh out of me anymore.
I love Borderlands 2 but the humour was very hit and miss majority of the time
A lot of unwarranted hatred i guess. This game was damn fun😂😂
Say "No, it wasn't me, it was the one-armed man"
This game is freaking amazing. Who hurt you?
Now do a Honest Trailer for Hyperdimension Neptunia
series is just pure fun in a turn-off your brain kinda way.
“Soon the rays from this ant will BURN A HOLE THROUGH THE SUN”
Honestly, I'd have picked this game up in an instant if it wasn't for the fact that I knew Tiny Tina was going to be narrating it. She was my least favorite character in Borderlands 2 by far, so the idea of having to either listen to her the whole time, or play the game muted, really killed my interest in a game I'd probably have otherwise enjoyed.
Luckily this is just a humorous video and the game is actually good.
It was funny but I think that's their real opinion... it's sad when people expect a game to be something different then the game is marketed as, its a game based around a dungeons and dragons board game with a 13 YEAR OLD being the dungeon master. They are going to make 13 year old jokes its not a dark game it wasn't supposed to be and they are never gonna sway from the one thing they do so well.
@@Reapinginthedark Exactly this. It was never meant to be anything more. Like why do video games always need an epic story? Can't it just be stupid fun? Like that doesn't excuse a game from having a bad story. Borderlands 3 had a bad story but was fun gameplay for the most part. Wonderlands has a good story and fun gameplay, but apparently it has juvenile humor and it's like...did you play ANY of the previous games? They all had juvenile humor and it was great. Not all were kneep slappers but it is on brand.
Don't listen to them, Honest Game Trailers. The game was garbage and you were right to skewer it. Ignore the well-trained seals in the comments.
10 years ago I was 25, a fresh faced and apparently quite handsome (would have been handy to know that at the time) younger me started working for Kal Tire. I'll never get those years back, I look older than I am.
Am I the only one who enjoyed the narration? It was fun and hilarious at times.
No, you're not the only one. I enjoyed it too!
Pretty sure whoever wrote this episode is the only person who DIDN'T enjoy the narration. Tiny Tina is hilarious.
This was painful to watch. Tina being my third favorite character of the franchise and with Will Arnett doing a phenomenal job as the Dragonlord (second only to Handsome Jack), this game blew me away. This was just… mean.
Game gets stale fast, ruined the borderlands franchise
@@Christoff070 that's a reach and a half lol
@@Draxtini dude it sucks they had so much feedback from loyal fans and now they wanna charge per minute to play their dlc
As many others said... that was a lot of hate... I actually really liked this release.
Conker's Bad Fur Day. I will not stop until you do it. Never.
Might brave of you to hate on Tiny Tina, one of the most beloved characters in the entire franchise. I'd much rather have Tina narrating than the child character they tried to push on us in BL3.
Ashley Burch's performance in the latest Horizon is more self-noting and gets really grating. At least Tiny Tina, you know what you're in for and I kind of like that chaotic nature.
@@HoraceInkling that's what I want to know.
@@HoraceInkling it's the process of noting one's self 😉
@@brianperrine8099 borderlands sucks now.
@@HoraceInkling - I think he means, that she talks to herself about what she should do next so that the player knows what task to do or tells herself what she noticed and what she's feeling to fill in the story more.
