If you don't like him, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be objective. The man is known to be an orator. He's brilliant! After his speech, everyone including the President gave him a standing ovation. Are we allergic to articulate President like PYO or Peter Obi in this country? How on earth can we ever prefer an Ancestor over a man like this God?
Because we leave the voting decision in the hands of market women, agberos, uneducated and few elite.
My take on this is this. He is the best candidate in APC but the truth is I want him to lose. Reason being that, if he wins, it will bring division among the whole S/S. Some will go for Peter Obi some will go for him thereby giving an upper hand to Atiku whom may later win. The best scenario would have been a situation where we have Obi as the PDP flag bearer and Osinbanjo the APC flag bearer. Then Nigeria will have a contest with two of the best candidates. So as much as I want him to win, I also want him to lose so that the entire south can vote for Peter Obi. But if he wins, he still have the disadvantage of the bad record of his party. It's like a new wine in an old bottle. So I think people won't easily forget about the death and hunger his party brought upon Nigerians in the past 7 years. So from my own reasoning, Peter Obi still have the edge of being a new wine in a new bottle. Edit: and also Obi has a proven track record practically not theoretically by mere talking. But still there will be division among the people so Atiku will finally take the day. These are just my own thoughts.
