Holy shit, Cody has got to be the hardest puncher p4p on the entire roster. Every time he fights it's evident he hits hard, but comparing it to other fighters and I realized Cody is on a different level. You can tell he was a former boxer and comes from a boxing family -- both in his punches and his defense. Special talent. Real savage. Hope he lights up the bantamweight division

When Cody first came into the UFC, I thought he was just another raw, talented guy. With decent striking, and knockout power. But his fights against Thomas Almeida, and Dominick Cruz really opened my eyes. He has GREAT footwork head movement, and boxing fundamentals. And the way he blends it with great wrestling is spectacular. Guy's gonna hold that belt for awhile I feel like.

There's beauty in the way he fights. His techniques may not be ostentatious but it's graceful in its own right. Sheer will and focus are what makes up most of his attributes as a fighter. Followed by controlled power and momentum. His prowess as a fighter - note the actual meaning of a fighter - has leveraged him to reign for a decade. Nonetheless, what truly sets him apart from the rest is his attitude. He inarguably is one of the most sincere and humble fighters to ever grace the world of combat sports. If you think he's overrated then you must look at him as a whole package and not just by how he executes some techniques that may not impress you.
