This movie was ahead of its time, not everybody ready for this Such shame they didnt have the sequels they deserved!
No kidding! Every shot was dripping with style, and the soundtrack was one of the greatest, most memorable OSTs I've ever heard for a film. I would've loved to see the stories and characters fleshed out over the course of a few movies.
I’m gonna say it. This movie deserved a sequel cause a cinematic Arthurverse would have been amazing
Like the round table and the birth of mordred and the fall of Camelot
Arthurverse would have been dope as fuck to watch...
This movie is fucking lit and no one can tell me otherwise
People don’t want a good story and a decent protagonist. They want brain dead plots with plenty of sex, despicable characters, and edgy protagonists that look as if they belong on a sex offender registry. Just look at the shows coming out on Netflix, Prime, and HBO right now. They’d rather cancel good shows and cinematic universes cause they want “progressive”, woke, politically correct shows/movies that caters to a audience with a collective IQ of .05 (Edit) might be a rant but it’s 3 am and I’m on a KZhead rabbit hole marathon.
This was such a cool movie. Always up for a new take on a classic fantasy story.
This was pretty awesome movie, deserved way more credit. It was a different telling of King Arthur who didn't even remember who his father and mother was or that he was a born king. I also thought it was pretty interesting how the stone Excalibur was in turned out to be his father Uther Pendragon
PSDT: alto testamento me mande xd
@@drexgames7724 I think it could have had more in depth story but still a really great film
@@albert_the_cool8092 It had a lot of good details and depth in story, specially in Arthur and Vortigern. Both might have royal blood but their life experiences changed them completely. Vortigern had all the power but he wasn’t happy and wanted more, while Arthur was happy with his life until everything changed and had to fight to survive. In the growing up montage, Arthur learns about life in a harsh world that kills the weak, he learned that alone he could be nothing but with company you can grow stronger. He learned the hard way, while his uncle wanted all in the easiest way. Some details might be o little but there is development.
I think it was a very poor movie compared to what it could have been. The dialogue for the character were very weak and the editing was way too fast paced. The movie should have cut a few scenes such as the darklands and the assassination attempt to better flesh out characters. I feel like it could have been a good show.
If God of War ever get movie adaptations, I personally want it to be like this. Especially the last fight with camera movement and stuff, keeps reminding me when you done a finisher to an enemy or a boss
I'm saying the same for the Dark souls/Bloodborne games, cuz that would be really fucking awesome
One of my favourite movies. The possession of the Excalibur's power was subtle and mind-blowing at the same time.
I absolutely loved this version. I think it's the best King Arthur that has been made to date.
And the best version of Excalibur as well.
This is so awesome but underrated movie, don't know why? The soundtracks are so good.
I saw this movie on the big screen. It was epic!!! Still one of my favorite movies ever. The action was great. the world building was great. it was just a good movie.
I cant believe the people made this film flop... even the director said it was suppose to be 6 part film 😭
6 movies for this? That’s why it felt kinda like they were building a momentum for the witch. I mean yeah blame the marketing and the critics from Rotten Tomatoes and more. It was a really nice movie. So sad we didn’t get to see more parts of it. 🥲
Critics ruined it for people
Despite the problems the movie had, I still think that it had potential. As a fan of Arthurian Myth, I would've loved to see a whole cinematic universe featuring the Knights of the Round Table. Picture it: one could be about Lancelot, another could be about Gawain (and possibly Gareth, Gaheris, and Agravain), one could be about Galahad, etc. Hell, they could've even made one about Mordred (not the one in this movie, of course) and his eventual fall to darkness, leading up to an epic finale. Maybe one day this concept could be revisited by another studio.
Y can't u believe
Thank critic's and poor release dates They released it during the infinity saga🙄
One of my favorite movies. This was by far the best movie for that year. Beautiful.
Whats the movie name?
One thing maybe a lot of people get mistaken is that Excalibur isn’t the sword in the stone, he still pulls it out but that Lake Lady gives Excalibur to him
Yehi wish they got caliburn correct:(
Arthurian legend had multiple versions so it doesn't really matter
Yes Truth.
Caliburn, excalibur, clarent, galatine, rhongonimyad, carnwennan. There is a lot of arthur weapons
@@skyreapersebas1393 Arondlight, levaetinn,Galahad's spear, the staff of merlin, Lancelot's ring of lady of lake, kay's tailsman of protection, green knight's sword, the ddraig Y goch sword, gwiber (Vortigern's sword), prototype of Excalibur (caldabolg) and a lot of weapons which are unknown still.
This was a pretty cool film.
Do invincible
King Arthur vs Aragon
Hasn't ever been another like it! It deserved a few more movies!
The godlike reflexes that excalibur gives to, thats why he sees everything slow
Would be pretty cool if they made a video game out of it I imagine it will be like shadow of war if its ever made.
The opening tribal song still gives me chills tho😭 so underrated
This is the complete opposite of King Arthur's disasters, and i LOVE IT!!!!!
slow motion part make you feel like you're inside a video game lmao
ps3 had better cut scene XD
I althink his powers are all explained more in the movie He is a combatant, swordsman Yes but he has all the King traits, he is a natural leader, he has a really good diplomacy skill, he is logical (like when he knows the aristocrats will not help him and his friends, so they better move alone), has a good tactical skill (like when they smuggle the wine to the palace to burn it down) And he has a really good feeling or sense (like when he stops Bill from aiming his arrow because he knows its not King Vortigern) He is loyal to his followers, he protects his friends, he is respectful with women
This is one of the best movies ever!!!!!
Movie Name please
@@sanjanis7303 Movie name is in the title of the video!
His swing is so painful to watch... Full of brute strength and lack of skill, It's like he is chopping vegetables... But I do love the CGI~
It wasn’t supposed to look skillful lol.. it showed how hard it was for him to even hold it with 2 hands because the power of the blade, and with his swings he’s usually send powerful gusts of wind
Not only that but it isn't like he was trained to be able to wield magical swords with absolute proficiency.
It's a little weird to be honest Looks a little bit false
In a six part series, they made those "swing" look like an amature so that in the upcoming movies he would've master it.... Movie was just above decent but it would've been great to see full power Excalibur
A pretty underrated film. For me the ideas were the best. Like the stone is actually his father Uther.
Exactly, that was great. I wish we got more of these films!
Highly underrated movie. I watch this all the time.
Absolutely. It's one I always come back to. Ritchie just knows how to direct action films, and mix his shots with epic music. We deserved at least 2 more film entries into this universe!
I love how over powered Excalibur is In this film It can literally create Shockwaves
I watched this movie a gazillion times!!!!
I loved this move. The Evil Kings armor was so iconic.
One of the coolest shame they never made a second one😂😂
Because of some shameless critics, who sit behind their laptops and phones to rate movies
I personally love this movie
It seems to have quite the large fanbase of followers. All of Guy Ritchie's films seem to get demolished by critics, but praised by audiences *...after* the film is out of theaters.
Love the concepts and powers in the movie: The sword could cut through air, so it would "shoot out" those force blasts when he swung it.. Weird that power is not in any games(that I know of), such a cool effect for a sword. Same with the fire sword from the movie Noah, The fire wave caused when Methuselah used it to protect the fallen angels. Cool stuff
In type-moon anime franchise Excalibur is covered in an invisible sheath of wing opening it up cause the hammer of the wind king attack so yeah
Zelda "link to the past" ? or that a more of a energy burst. ?
The blood skal blade in skyrim had similar mechanics
LONG LIVE THE KING
Background score of this movie is fantastic....
Way deeper powerful meaning in this movie. Each one of us has a plan and destiny by God to rule and reign with Him on this earth. Evil tries to keep us diminished and live a scant life, subdued life. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came to give life and to the abundance!! There is freedom from everything that holds you down and tries to destroy you, there is life in Jesus and you were meant for more. In Him is salvation. Not a one time prayer, but everyday relationship with the King of kings. Just open your heart and yield to Him and only Him. God bless you all
Damn that last fight was telling the story of everyone fighting a dark souls boss for the first time vs fighting them on you 50th playthrough 😂
this was a movie with so much potential i am still bitter it flopped it really didnt deserve that
I could watch this film over n over it was amazing to see and Charlie Hunman very handsome and played the character really well x
So pretty much, Excalibur is someone else's Zanpaktou in a constant released state that exudes a shit ton of Reishi.
I'm gonna watch this movie again with that idea in mind...
Like Nanao's Family Zanpaktou, but male version.
When you put it like that
@@alfredpaz1506 Nothing comes close to my Nanao-chan's Zanpakutō.
@@shunsuikyoraku3502 sorry about that, how's soul society doing these days.
🇿🇦 I love this movie. 👍 Sharon Coetzee.
hey I dig the video of Arthur king it is cool/awesome and please keep up the good work it is fantastic ♥️👍🙂😁😊🤯✝️
I always come back to this film, waiting more & more
It was a decent movie. With a decent story. A bit too over the top with the OP powers, but the actors were solid.
I can see what you mean. Personally, at this point I think I would have preferred one literal *sword beam* attack and more regular fighting rather then over the top cgi fights. It should be a thing, but that could just be my nerd side talking. It’s like having Hercules without lightning powers in action movies. It’s not really part of his skillset in the legends as far as I’m concerned, but it’s expected in some movies.
Decent? This movie is a masterpiece. It reminds me of legendary movies of old. The story telling was epic, the bad guy in this movie makes you hate him and every time you think you hate him as much as you can he makes you hate him even more, the vision that Arthur sees as a young boy becomes more and more revealed throughout the movie, special effects and sound were absolutely stunning. And this is supposed to be a lord of the rings type Arthurian mythical legend. So as far as the powers, I thought they added to the epicness of this film. I prefer it to any of the lord of the rings movies
@@moistfist1054 lightning is never expected for heracles to do in any movie
I Love you channel Superman and supergirl my favorite videos
O Comin this looks sick. Looks like a video game at times but camera work and choreography is there
the thing that i like about this movie is that ppl don't get too bloody in the swordfight scene, almost like Disney which is great putting more focus on aesthetics.
If someone are motionsickness, this will be one coaster riding to hell
So this is what it looks like when your Level 20 Eldritch Knight gets hasted by the wizard.
I feel like they over did the camera work a bit, cut this movement of the camera down a 3rd and it's a masterpiece.
2:08 congratulations, you picked up a magic baseball bat
One of the best movies ever made ❤
Im in love this movie!!!
Love this version the most
Even though I consider 'Excalibur' to be the best, most accurate King Arthur and the Knights of the Round table film, this film however shows how powerful Excalibur really is!
Castle Invasion got that perfect flow combo 😁
One of my most favorite movies
I really, really liked this movie!!!
I liked this movie, wish they would do another.
Amazing
The Graphic though unreallllll!!!!!😍😍😍😍
Unreal engine
After watching this, It's watching a Witcher movie... I know the cgi and camera effects annoyed most but damn that was legit badass to me... Really love the medieval storytelling and banters on this which I am a fan of 💯
Parabens pra o editor
The main reason for why I really liked this film was how Excalibur was depicted. In other versions, Excalibur was shown to be a powerful Sword but nothing really to emphasise its magical powers. Here though, its very clear Excalibur has magical powers and it even glows when its magical powers are summoned.
Im going crazy over the powers and the cgi
This is epic & also looks like this movie is trying so hard to be like the matrix trilogy, it's pretty close
I never thought Mcklemore could fight.
Esta película me encantó como quisiera más de esto pero creo no será...
This movie is sick
Did they ever say if this version of the sword Excalibur was Indestructible
This moviewas so badass
The final fight scene resembled a video game with Quick Time Events.
I liked it
Their depiction of vortigern was solid
Plays King Arthur, still walks like a biker.
underrated movie
epic soundtrack
We need that sequel about the war with saxons
I want God of War created by this company💪 amazing movie
I don't understand why his sword kinda works like a stick when fighting masses. With that much force, and a sharp sword, the victims should be cut cleanly with each swing. 🙄
Because the power is blunted by the power of PG 13
Maybe it's because Excalibur cut only that which the user wants to cut.
It was a good movie
Make ALL Godspeed Powers
My boy throwing getsuga tenshos like it's nothing!
Can you make a utopian from a jupiter legacy?
I like Watchers for some powerful of knights for coming is battle Time
It wasn’t without its problems… but it was fun!
I only liked this movie because Uther was a badass.
I enjoyed this movie when i watched it, i didnt realize anything wrong with it, so how did it flop like how people said if i may ask?
Guy Ritchie 🔥
Definitely shoulda made an open world video game about this, but with an assassin’s creed type theme tho.
Give me some link of this movie

Whats this movie called?
Hmm which sword would win: Excalibur or Zarroc/Brisingr from the Inheritance cycle?? That would be an interesting match up. Who agrees??
This movie is my reason for why they should make a soulsbourne movie
Seriously this movie is fucking 1000xxx dope....this movie is like aive action of anime
