Cooling on the 2021 models is amazing. 72°C is what i hit max. I bought it on October and the fans already failed and i can't get replacements anywhere

cooling sucks somewhat without throttling, according to reviewers, the screen, casing, and keyboard are lower quality versus my A17 from 2020, VRMs are very poorly heatsinked my older A17 look better, too, honestly

@@Arpan.. bro ddr5 ram alone is enough for a price hike....i feel like even base model with i5 and rtx3050 will cost between 80 to 90k.... and if they give a ddr4 ram option like acer nitro 2022 then maybe the price will be below 80k

You love them until the cooling fans fail on you month after purchase. I bought a TUF f15 fx506HC and now the fans aren't even pushing air out.

If along with performance, TUF/TUF DASH F15 2022 will give me 10hr+ KZhead streaming on battery, I am buying it on day 1 of release.
Most of the TUF series laptops this generation should see massive improvements in battery life due to a node change for AMD and a major desgn improvement for Intel both the A15 and F15 (I don't know about the dash as it has a smaller battery) should strike well into the 10+ hour battery range the A15's may venture when pushed to the nearly 20 hour range esp. with the MUX switch on all these laptops that will force them to use integrated graphics in battery sensitive situations. P.S. if you want to go battery life this gen go AMD as AMD has aimed for a better balance of battery life to performance meanwhile Intel has aimed for the pinnacle and has optimized for plugged in use.

Tgp is 140 for top model ie 3070 model so rtx 3060 model could have atleast 130 watt plus mux switch is also there so it's a nice entry

Have you changed the thermal paste? And how are your fans working? I bought mine on October and the fans already failed on me.
@@polardabear havnt changed the thermal paste, but I have been cleaning the fans of dust and debris every couple months.

@@spartendeath The dust protection was not very good on the old chassis, within 12 months of normal use my fans had transformed into spinning dustbunnies. I only noticed when I was tanking below 60 fps on minimum setting in EFT. I heavily recommend cleaning these often as Asus relied solely on the fans dust orotectuin features and not dust filter like some of the competition. For example I took apart a 2020 Razer Blade 14 and the laptop despite seeing nearly as much use as mine looked nearly as clean as when it left the factory. P.S. I have the 2020 ASUS TUF A15 with 4800h and an RTX 2060

Inte is going to have more cores this gen than AMD but (If I recall correctly) fewer threads as Intel is going to have both performance cores and efficiency cores meanwhile AMD is just all P cores as usual.

The reason for a lack for a preinstalled OS I assume is the underwhelming market view of Win 11 but Microsoft is pushing Win 11 hard right now, so that likely just means thatbit will come with a Win 10 license.

Sadly my fx504gd did not last that long... bought it brand new... from year release... months later... the hinge broke the plastic case... had to bring it to an authorized repair shop (still under warranty)... they fixed it... then after a year... same hinge broke again... and a year later... it no longer works... via battery or power cable... it just wont light up... at the end... all I can say... I hope they are able to update the hinge.. and make sure that the unit really is TOUGH... wasted money...
Maybe your unit was used on one of their durability lab test. And it has already 10,000 actions before you even used it.

Please stop trying to make gaming laptops thinner and thinner, they need bigger heatsinks but that goes against the senseless and irrational trend to make them thinner, please leave that to business laptops or whoever that use light CPU loads, the trend has no place in gaming. Ever. Or you can add liquid cooling to everything to make up for it.
