The subject of this lock mechanism is the principle of pushing a point out of the center point by using different angles, and the opposite way up is using the force of magnetic force. The application has created a lock on the top of the door on the box. Thank you

  • Why not a 45 degree angle on the leading edge of the latch so you could close it and it would retract and close automatically?

    • The original comment is saying a bevel on the end of the board that holds the door closed, so that it can close without having to manually disengage the latch.

  • I like that you also have the option of making the outer facing hole a slot instead and you can set this up to work with a knob too (and with the right shaped knob base, you can even hide the slot from view) 🤔

  • What’s the reason for the oversized hole on the inside cover plate? Or any hole, really. The latch could still be operated with a solid cover plate there. Is it just to be able to remove the latch without having to remove the plate? Or am I missing something?

  • Looks good. But if you had kept the top end in biveld fashion it would be easy to close the shutter just by pushing it.
