Here is a fun documentary of my dog's life. His name is Coco and he is Japanese Spitz. Hope he can make you laugh

We've had 3 japanese spitz thus far. This one in my pic is a crossbreed, but still dominant spitz. For the most part, these dogs are very active and love to play. Mostly cunning when taught tricks with a food reward. The shed a lot. Like seriously a lot. Very fun to be arround :)
i also have one and watching this makes me happy. I can't wait to see my baby snow to grow up.

This dog behaves and looks like my dog, who was apricot. He passed away in July from cancer. I literally miss him daily. This video makes me feel close to him.

I've got a 4 year old Japanese Spitz. Shes the best dog I've owned and I've had many many dogs in my years. She's got the attitude of a German Shepard but the heart and intelligence of a Golden Retriever. Best dogs ever honestly.

Stassi and Coco look like soulmates. I Work from home so she's around me literally all day and this is exactly 100% how she acts haha.

I have a 10 yr old and his youngest son 8 months old. Both of them shed like snow but they are so cunning, obedient ,some times independent and funny. Both of them do their duties diligently. The are like German Shepherds but in a small package. Love them a lot
He is so precious! Stumbled across your video while looking for information about this breed. I‘m working with mentaly and physicaly disabled people and going to do a training for animal assisted therapie. It‘s not easy to find a suited breed for that job, in my case the dog must look cute (clients often are afraid of dogs at first, black or too big breeds are hard to trust immediatley for my clients). The dog must be intelligent, friendly, like to play and cuddle. Retrievers, Labradors are too big in my case, Aussies herd to much, that’s not what I want. I take care of a group of each 9 to 13 clients in two big houses with a big garden, two times a week I stay there overnight. So the dog is integrated in two big „families“. The japanes spitz seems to be the perfect breed for my requirements. Unfortunately in Germany there are only a Hand full of breeders, but I‘m hoping to get in Touch soon, for a puppy next spring. 🦮💝
They are amazing and very intelligent. They are great with kids and seniors but surprisingly adapt well to households with cats.
Bonjour Im Sammy ! Im 4 years old and ive been having a wonderful Life with m'y mommy retired since 2020 . We are Always together I Thank heaven every Day for having thé Best Partner ever she brings so much Joy in m'y life ! reminded me when she was baby looks exactly like me !these babies love attention affection and especially massages ! 😮 Thank you for sharing long life with coco❤

Tanya Bul hahah chinese apartments just have this distinct style that isn’t common in other countries 😂 my family is chinese so I visit every summer! Unfortunately I couldn’t go this year :/ hopefully next year tho!!!

not much. maybe I don't see it because I'm not a clean freak. well I also don't have black clothes anymore lol I just ignore it
@@tanyabul6047 my brother has a japanese spitz half labrador and she sheds a lot but not too much I guess I know that because my brother is a clean freak lol
They don’t need to shed a lot and don’t clean their fur a lot cuz then their fur will become dry, only clean when necessary.
We have a Japanese spitz baby n he does the same thgs. I had thought it's only our fluffy who does like this...😄

I don't leave mine alone for that long. if I have to go for long time I make sure I will exhaust him before leaving the house lol

Love the video! I was curious, is the bathing and brushing everyday? Or just sometimes? Looking at getting a Spitz but don't know much about the breed!
I brush him every week. And I take him to a petshop to take a bath once in 2 months 😏 it's cheap in China
@@tanyabul6047 Oh nice, so the rinsing off of the paws is just a cleanliness thing? I loved brushing my pup, so I'll definitely continue that trend hehe. Its cheap in New Zealand too, and its super fun. How much exercise do you give them? An hour a day? Thanks for responding!
@@jamesmay6674 I try to walk with him as much as I can. At least 3 times a day for 30 minutes in a bad weather like rn it's too hot. Looking forward to cool weather so we can walk 3 hours a day 😁😁 otherwise he keeps bugging me at home he is so needy. And I wash his paws before bed because he sleeps with me 😅
@@tanyabul6047 oh thats so cool! Im definitely planning on being more active, so that should work for me. Walks and playtime? Like I was thinking dog parks and Frisbee or throwing a ball.. yep I figured you'd wash them before bed! Good to know they aren't too high maintenance, aside from needing attention! maybe find an activity that will burn puppy's energy in first months when it's not allowed to leave a house without immunity. we played catch in the hallway of our apartment building. that was the only thing that made him tired

Tanya Bul 8-10 lbs. It’s an American Eskimo which is technically a German Spitz just in the smaller size. They look identical to Japanese Spitz. The American Eskimo comes in 3 sizes Toy, mini, & standard.

I am deadly afraid of dogs when i see one but at the same time i find them so adorable. I think it has something to do with how my parents would threatn me with dogs biting if i dont listen to them as a kid.

no problem. he is 2,5 years old now and 5.9kg/13 lbs

How many days in a week , you make take that do bath? I also have a spitz but if bring it out it turns full fur covered with mud and dirt.
I don't bathe him. Only wash his paws every night. Where we live rn It's clean outside no mud even when he is playing in the grass. I take him to the groomer to bathe him once in 2 months

Japanese Spitz looks just like American Eskimo (German Spitz). My dogs name is Coconut Junior (Coco for short).

I have a spitz and he's so hyper active.. 😂😂 the toughest part is to bathe him. I mean he likes it but I don't, as it becomes quite messy. Especially with those hairs.
