Japan's Richest Steaks - handled by Rare Teppanyaki Chef

Finding a chef in Japan that cooks a Steak with a thick, crispy and caramelized crust is rare, blue rare to be exact. The moment the steak touches the surface of the Teppanyaki you will notice the higher than normal heat. Usually in Japan you will get a steak prepared at medium heat with a rather soft surface which can the Western visitor remind rather of "hot sushi" than of a traditional succulent piece of steak -

That steak got more love and attention then i did in my entire childhood.
Good for you
I had plenty of attention in my childhood. I have the scars to show it. But I am okay. Although I have never had Wagyu yet.
I feel sorry for you bro
I’d just like you to know. I’m a 43 yr old bloke from the uk, and I absolutely love watching these videos you create. They give me a window to something I may never be able to experience, and even better, my 17 yr old daughter loves watching the cooking as well, and gives me things to talk with her about. And this is a great thing to share. So thank you for doing these vids, honestly. I’m really grateful .x
while i could afford it, i am probably much too greedy 🤣🤣🤣 i am using ingredients orders of magnitude more affordable... with a small saute pan or the likes, always perfectly deglazing, no taste or fat drop EVER lost... at least used for the sauce etc 😁😁😁
Loved the crust on those steaks. They looked amazing. Actually, everything looked amazing!!
Even though it’s medium, the chef did make the pieces look crispy and not so bloody like other teppanyaki chefs
It's on my bucket list to grab lunch with you, bro. Keep up the awesome vids!
The music and the setting gives me such a Cowboy Bebop vibe. Awesome presentaion as usual. It looked delicious!
Thank you Aden. I really enjoyed this film and was amazed by the price at the end. For what you received, it was a "low" price. You visit other restaurants where you received a similar menu but paid much more.
I'll swear i could smell that food right through the screen!, on my bucket list.
the steak looks incredible! and the rice looks awesome too! curious 11:06 what is that dark red square thing?
The steaks look perfect!
Very good chef, great technique!
Loved everything about this video.
Me too, except the price
$ 142.43 US Dollars for the meal 😊
still better value than fast food.
@@drumitar Yes!!!
For chef salary 😅
@@drumitarIt barely costs more than fast food these days.
He was ripped off
I think if I ever went to a restaurant like this, I'd want to order one steak cooked to the chef's recommendation, the way he thinks it should be cooked, and the other like it was the target of an incendiary weapons test, extra well done. Just for the comparison.
The steak looks delicious!
your killing me amigo.....I am on the third day of a water fast and watching these vids helps to satisfy me in some strange way.....thank you
Ugh
@@Shep01 dead right amigo been doing this for years now, nice to hear from another informed being, take care
It satisfies me in a weird way in general😅😂.
Drink water man it's good for you
@@jm12green31 water is the only thing you have during a water fast
Such mastery. Such delicious looking steak!
Meh
Delicious. 😋
I missed the part when the chef put a egg in the fried rice 😢
Hi Aden, what are those mysterious cubes that go with the vegetables at 11:37?
Eu amo esses vídeos! 💙
What are the vegetables? Chinese broccoli? What are other ones.?
Nothing is wasted when cooking. I think it’s the same restaurant I went ten years ago.

Nice job chef I've seen way too many of your videos where they don't use high enough heat or adequate oil. Basically just dry searing it on a griddle is no bueno. I think the best cook was the guy you visited twice with the big tenderloin cooked in plenty of butter
Those chefs would be cooking, looking at you, and swearing to themselves telling you off.
Man you know it's gonna be good when they use beef fat instead of oil 😋wish all teppanyaki's did this.

AMAZING Work of Steaks in Japan. I shop WAGYU.

what is that red gel square looking thing
That is probably "red konnyaku" Konnyaku is a food made by processing konnyaku potatoes, and is characterized by its unique texture, which is jelly-like and jiggly, but with a bit of elasticity.
@@kbtmkne.5868 WRONG. You imbecile. It’s red gugu-yaki. A rare salmon jelly from the chocktaki mountains condensed into a fine square.
What were the red triangles? Looked like a "blood cake".......
Red konjac I think.
It's wax to seal the envelope when you write home about the meal...
@@melodie3288 Thank you I was wondering the same thing ❤️
I would want the order the food was served to be the exact opposite of how he received it.
What is that red block? Looked kinda of tofuey.

This looks ok but you should try a big mac hamburger. Really top shelf quality stuff.

take your rice to the next level by adding currants or finely chopped dried apricots.
