This one is great for driving in the city due to the arrows if you do a lot of highway driving the Uniden R3 really can't be beat for the money.

Raw performance it's a little lacking in comparison to other units such. However, total package it's great! Yeah I stopped using escort live and mainly just use WAZE now.
Not the MOST informative but definitely answered the majority of my questions. hard wiring does seem like it would be useful. and the features are definitely the best. Thanks for the review.

I totally agree. I have had the 8500x50, 9500ix and Max 360. Only thing bad about the Max360 in a 2017 Corvette C7 Stingray is that it vibrates more than the 9500ix (with an aftermarket one big suction cup).
Hey Man, I just got my Passport 360 today and I was wondering what standard setting you changed to make your radar better? I had the 9500ix for 3 years so I just kept most of it standard, plus it was much more more simpler. There are so many more features in the 360 and just wanted to know from someone who has played around with it alot more than I have what you changed that made you feel enhanced the 360. +Rohit Bhatti Glad you enjoyed the video. The settings I use for mine are Standard+ for audio, multiple for arrows, and Expert FR for metering. Also make sure the firmware is fully up to date. The second the officer turns his radar on to read your speeds especially at night you can’t avoid him from seeing your speeds period. But with a scrambler you can move freely especially at a distance without the officer seeing speeds. That’s why I luv Rocky Mountain Radar technology. Even if I didn’t have any scrambler mounted in rears like i Do now years ago I was still able to point the scrambler Device into the mirrors and pull away without police seeing my speeds period. Because you’re a ghost with that shield!!👍🏽👍🏽
A scrambler is nothing but advanced military computer technology. It has been around now since the 90s but it’s more advanced today. Have you noticed so many competitors tried literally testing the device or properly tried coping but no one can copy it’s technology. A scrambler was never designed to be tested period it’s impossible to test that technology. It was only intended to use on police that’s it. Yes some People do hate Rocky Mountain Radar company technology but you must understand they’re always be others that hate on you or your success no matter who you are
The errors helps out a whole lot but not if a officer is strolling behind you and turns his radar on you then constantly turns it off while reading your speeds.

Yes I do still have the Max 360. In my IS F, I created my own version of a blendmount. However, I've purchased a new car and bought a blendmount for it. I will be doing a follow-up review on the radar detector and a review of my thoughts of the blendmount as well so stay tuned.

Does the escort max 360 work only in the USA or can it work in other countries as well?
Competitors literally hate on RMR which I understand why. But out all these years now I still don’t use a regular radar detector by itself because it’s not enough protection against police knowing they can’t still easily see your speeds so easily. Yes I luv my escort max 360👍🏽👍🏽 but by itself it’s like being powerless against police out there
First off. Nice video. Thanks for sharing. I'm trying to figure out how this 360 works. I just got mine in the mail today. I put it in my car & went for a ride. At one point it started chirping like crazy & every arrow was illuminated. No clue as to what that meant. Lol. It then shut up & I got a K hit. How do we know which bands are real threats & which are not? Thank you.
Tony Draper usually that crazy chip is either Pop radar or Laser both of which you should slow down immediately for. The K hit could be anything from radar cruise control, automatic door openers at businesses, and things of that nature. Remember correlation doesn't equal causation. The more you drive around with it the more it will lock out false signals from stores and eventually you'll have a good database built up where you go frequently.

Depends on the device you're using but my phone is able to be paired to multiple devices.

What settings should I adjust on mine to get the best performance?
My personal preference for best performance is to set the detector to Highway (for max range) and then disable X-band metering. 95% of states don't use X-band any more. The exceptions being (to my knowledge) New Jersey, Ohio, and some parts of Oregon.

Isn't running multiple Radar Detectors bad for their efficiency?
Absolutely they can interfere with each other. However, both these models are shielded so the affect on their efficiency is probably minimal but worth noting.

Neither of those units is "Shielded" and the M3 platform (which is RDD undetectable) has been shown to interfere with other detectors any way.

How do you even hard wire a radar detector?
+Tech Defender You can tap it into many places. I have mine tapped into the wiring for my automatic windshield wiper sensor. Some mirrors that have auto-dimming or compasses have power to them yo can tap or there's always the wiring for the map lights.
+G9 Time I really need your help ! I purchased max 360 2 month ago and got me a speeding ticket in the first week. I have a problem with the range it doesn't alert me with a good range only 300-400 meters from the hit. I've been testing max 360 with every single band from the real police to signs on the highway with k band and it seems same problem with the range.
Have you made sure to update the firmware? I had issues until my firmware was updated.

Mine was slow to display new threats the update solved that issue.

No but in theory you could create your own battery pack for it to plug in to if you really needed that feature.

+pierre tremblay Because speed limits are arbitrary numbers that really don't reflect driving conditions. Moving violations nationally are a multi-billion dollar revenue generator, for local governments. You'll have to excuse me if I choose to buy a device that helps me not contribute to that revenue. Stopping distance of cars have been reduced greatly since tail-gating laws were put in effect. However, legislation has not changed and the laws to reflect the major improvements in stopping distances. When laws truly reflect what's in my best interest that's when I will respect them.

the refund ticket is a BS. i got a ticket on the passport 9500ci from a dragoneye hit. escort never bothered to refund me $250. ticket.
Good to know. However, I've not seen them offer ticket reimbursement with the 9500ci but I could be wrong.
I thought there was some good information here. Your review is somewhat hampered by not having experience with some of the other RDs. I seriously doubt, based on what trusted people (not Radar Roy or Veil Guy) are saying online that the Max360 has a better range than Redline. I do love a lot of features of the Max360. If it had a little better sensitivity and range and faster arrows, I'd be a fan. Let's hope your paint doesn't start chipping off the buttons, as has happened with several reviewers.
+TreesOnTheBeach Thanks. I've been in friends cars who have had V1s or Redlines. The only other daily use radar I've experience was a Solo S3 I used on my motorcycle. For me, the auto-lockout feature is what I value the most. On a daily driver that feature is worth it to me to sacrifice some raw performance.

dan g I definitely miss my IS F. It was such a great car. Reliable, comfortable, and fun when you needed it to be. I really enjoy the driving experience of my GT-R but I still miss my IS F for daily driving.
