Planes used to have that camera feature back int he 80's. Forgive me if this is a downer - American Airlines flight 191 (back in 1979 at Chicago Ohare) had this same type of camera on the tail. Sadly, one of the engines had fallen off as the plane was lifting off the ground (repair crews had damaged the fastening bolts due to improper removal of the engine with a forklift). The plane did not make it very far, and had a devastating crash. Passengers watching the video could see the terror that was about to happen as the plane hit a nearby hanger. I believe that is when they stopped putting cameras on the tail section for passengers to watch.
Where those bushfires were, in the middle, nearer the shoreline....that’s me! 🙋🏼♀️ Luckily, I’m ok. Unfortunately, lots of people weren’t. Our wildlife has been suffering too. I’m happy to say that we have a week of rain in that area. Bring on winter. Thanks 👍🏽
