she is appreciated by her fans. if you want appreciation from others that prefer different genre forget it cause these people will not appreciate. by following her own path she won't get more. Kpop is so fierce, that if you don't give to the masses what they want someone else will and he will become popular and you won't. it worked for Mamamoo and it was pure luck, but if Mamamoo started today and did their own thing like in debut they wouldn't make it. don't talk about "she deserves more" when she don't do what the masses want.

I love the storytelling about her career through the video : Felt like she didn't belong as a kid, lonely in a room full of people. Discover / use music as an escape but also as a way to connect and have fun with people. Dancing on her own in the garage would be training : it's where you build things and it's also a little cold, a little dread even with this poor parody of a sky on the wall. Then it's Mamamoo's carreer, the long, infinite road ahead with a beautiful sky and flowers and 3 friends in the car. But Wheein decides to leave the garage (or her company), it's like she's backstages and suddenly enter the real world, she's not behind a screen anymore. The garage suddenly is filled with this outside beauty she found on the road. At the end, it's a loving and proud collage of all the versions of herself and her career.

The international extras?? Wheein's musicality is just expanding. So many feels every time I replay the song. Every scene is like a recall to her musical journey, maybe that's why even with the dance-y vibe, there's an undercurrent of comfort. And this release is another memorable milestone to add in her life. I also just have to say that hair down Wheein is so laid back & carefree, but hair up Wheein just hits differently! And is that an easter egg at the last second of the end credits?? It's just the right amount to keep me on the edge for her next! But for now, I will go stream her full album masterpiece in Spotify on repeat all day!

Majority of audience knew even the fanchants of her old digital track. This album when it was released had no promotion at all and even the english subs weren't uploaded. She didn't appear on an variety shows and there wasn't even a youtube add so most people didn't know. Yet her album still sold 82k+ in the first 2-3 weeks itself.

Mamamoo go to Thailand, Manila, etc very often for live tours, so it's natural to have a 120k audience since Mamamoo have built a fanbase over these years and will also listen their solo projects. duh. the album had no promotion? wth you talk about? how do i know the album is coming when i don't follow Korean social media, and how it sold 82k+ copies in 2-3 weeks? from promotion. she didn't appear on variety shows? what about 1Thek, KBS, Inkigayo, etc? what about the radio shows? what about the fan meetings? these don't count? so, she had an audience of 120k and sold 82k copies in 2-3 weeks and yet you say "there was no promotion, no english subtitles, blah blah blah". as it seems, these things don't matter that much.

Half of the variety video titles are in Korean, her music videos have no subtitles, radio shows are obviously korean and fan meetings are mostly for her current fan base. She clearly has some promotion but its definitely not enough and very centralized. I feel like if you don't search or follow her, you probably won't know about the new album.
