Not at all. It's because the first fight was basically fight of the century and a draw. Then the next two fights were 1 and 1. The 4th fight is simply a well earned, and once in a lifetime tie breaker.

I could care less about this fight. Just more of the ufc recycling the same guy for a title fight as if noone else in the division exists. Just like michael chandler fighting porier for a title shot when hes done nothing impressive or gone on any streak to warrant that. The ufc wants an american champion so bad theyre willing to throw title shots at chandler wether he deserves them or not and its actually insane when u see what leon edwards and dariush have to do to even remotely get a title shot. Michael chandlers not on some 10 fight win streak.
I think it's because not only does he sell PPVs but he had a pretty good reign in Bellator. However, I believe they should have to go through Oliveria to get a title shot because of the reign he had. If it wasn't for Volk, he should've got an immediate rematch in neutral territory.
