Jaw-Dropping Course of 10,000 Redwoods | Adventures in Golf Season 6

Gigantic redwoods as far as the eye can see. Good luck trying not to hit one.
Erik Anders Lang heads just north of San Francisco, California to explore a once-hidden MacKenzie masterpiece on this Adventures In Golf, presented by United. The 9-hole course is a gem, but the vibe you get at Northwood is undeniable.

  • Kudos to your entire team. The storytelling, camera work, location, and most importantly the people, make this such a special episode. It feels criminal to be watching this for free.

I'm blown away by the colour grading and compositions. Truly inspired by this and random golf club. Watching the break 90 series and it's a Vlogg. and it's got some of the most beautiful shots I've ever seen this is a truly fantastic short documentary. Thank you.

  • This is probably one of the best things I've watched in years and that includes anything that isn't golf related. What a place. I wish more golf courses had this ethos. None of the elitist attitudes, no one is made to feel small or unwanted - a true homage to what this game can and should be.

I’m shocked I never played it as a youth since I grew up in Mendocino county on a small 9 hole course called Brooktrails which is also surrounded by Redwood trees but not nearly as beautiful as this gem👍👍👍⛳️🍻 Most of my vacations revolve around golf. Scottsdale area, Monterey, Florida, Hawaii, Palm Springs, etc and this course was packed with fun loving, non pretentious, cool people, which is a rarity👍

I have nothing but good things to say about them and the course itself. Gaylords son Trevor was just a little kid when I worked there but he was there helping his dad everyday! • If you love McKenzie, you have to check out his other course designs in the greater Bay Area. Meadow Club in Fairfax is private, so good luck with that. Sharp Park in Pacifica is a public, very affordable McKenzie and the best one, in my opinion, is Pasatiempo in the hills above Santa Cruz. Alistair had his house( still there off the 7th fairway) there too! Bring your 'A' game to all, they are classic courses!

  • I think this might be my favorite episode! I might be a little biased, as I’ve played this course my entire life, but the cinematography and interviews were spot on this episode. Amazing work 👏

  • I grew up on this golf course. My father works on a lot of the houses there. I left there around 13 years old. Now at 28 I went back to play 18. It brought tears to my eyes thinking back when I was a child watching golfers while working with my father to being one of the golfers.

  • Absolutely fantastic!!! It’s great when you find those spots that make you feel humbled. Great to see the true passion and emotion in a father and son. Great to see how much they mean to each other as well as how much a place means to them. Great episode!!!

  • This video is easily one of the most sublime videos I’ve watched about “Golf”. Truly, emotionally moving. Now from Oklahoma, I can’t help but feel the need to make this journey to the mystic Redwoods. Bless💚
