  • I really enjoyed this movie and in part, I really hope Netflix returns to making good movies/series instead of focussing on including ads. Good story, good characters, well executed. I found the drone shots okay personally, at times a bit contrived, however, much like introducing any new tool visually, more common use of it wil not be as refined. But again, I really really enjoyed this movie and I hope to see more of this.

  • Wow, the industry is already using ShotDeck for their own analysis and resource for color, style, frame, etc. Congrats on that!

  • I actually could not finish this movie. This over the top, ridiculously unbelievable genre is a sad turn IMO. Why can't they just take it down a few notches toward mildly unbelievable ?

  • Wow. Did you delete my comment?. Here is another fact... I am just watching the movie and those drone shots are "very shaky". The drone shots in "RED" with "The Rock" in it looks smooth. But not in this movie. The budget was 200 plus, right? I think you should handle some comments on KZhead when a nobody like me is writing something about the camera work.

    • @@tazistarfire did you saw it? It just looks distracting. And it was not done in post. It looks weird and it is very noticeable. And I have to add that I find the editing decision also strange. Even in quiet and slow scenes it was cut too often and hectically. I remember a scene with Ryan alone in a bathroom having some flashbacks. Which is fine to cut to the flashbacks. But before the flashbacks are happening there are so many cuts. Cut to his face, his scars, his cloth, back to his hands, back to his face, hands, cloth ... over and over again. Once rule is to tell something new with every cut. No repetitions. It reminds me of "Liam Neeson jumping the fence" from Taken 3. Making a movie is hard work, but if you are on top and spending so much money, I don't get the shaky camera and the editing part. And everyone in the room is saying: Yes, looks good to me.
