I felt that same feeling, I wanted to show it to my mom and miss her and my dad..I was just a kid and always heard my parents listening to "This is The Music of your Life"' national broadcast on the local radio affiliate... I was in my 30s when I really begin to appreciated the talent in that music and had it set between all the rock and rap stations on my car stereo hoping none of my friends came across the preset.. He's here in vegas.
He was BIG in Vegas from the mid-seventies to the mid-eighties.
@@rc5chi539 Yeah but let's talk facts. He was never mainstream. Why? He was on Carson, that should have been enough. He was loved by other celebrities, in particular some of the ones he imitated. But you never heard Sinatra mention him. Something must have happened to Bob along the way. He made enemies. Or got lost in drugs. Or was simply unlucky because Rich Little reached superstardom and this guy did not.

This guy is amazing!!! I think he must have been in a parallel universe. I thought I knew all impersonators back in the day. So many people are saying they've never heard of him. Definitely this is a Mandela effect.
I agree.....I remember Rich Little being considered the best back then....I would have heard of this guy but I never have.....this is the twilight Zone...❓❓❓❓❓
Very strange indeed
Totally!!!
Took the words right out of my mouth!
October 2023. ❤wow, this man is fantastic! What talents ❤, never heard of him either,,
I mean. I couldn’t stop watching this. Unbelievable one person can sing like this .. on top of it all he is adorable looking.
When he did Englebert I almost fainted. My favorite singer. He did a great job!
I was about to request Tony Bennett's "When Joanna Loved Me" or "I Wanna be Around" & Sinatra's "Witchcraft" on May 20, 1957, W/ Nelson Riddle & His Orchestra @Capitol Records 1750 N Vine St. Studio A
I too love Englebert and his magnificent singing voice. This guy's take on our man was the best of the bunch IMO.
Bob Anderson did a show I went to last December 11, 2021 at Carnegie Hall in New York City --he did Frank Sinatra's entire typical Las Vegas act, including some of Sinatra's most famous monologue jokes. It was marvelous! I have been to hundreds of "live" Frank Sinatra concerts in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York City - believe me, this Bob Anderson just nailed it perfectly!
"one more for the road" 90 minutes non stop...when the show ran at the palazzo in Vegas it won best headline...best live performance a best live show.....i think his 32 piece orchestra is part of the keys to the success...they are awesome.
I was going to look him up to see if he was still around…thank you for posting he is!
@@davediamond7228 Yes, I agree!
@@joesagliani6501 Thank you for your reply.
How many Pavarotti or even Mario Lanza impressionists have you heard ?? Sinatra / Bennett / Martin - not that difficult to emulate imo . ,( I've done it )!
I wanna see a biopic where this man is played by matthew mcconaughey
Ahhhhh the Era. The love. The music 🎶 Man I'm 44 years young but I always appreciated all the guys he's impersonating❤️ Especially my Boy Frank Sinatra!!
Wow he absolutely nailed Sinatra, bravo!
He has a great voice on his own right!! Brings back memories of the music that was in our house when I was much younger. Makes me miss my parents, grandparents, and brother so much more!!
I’ve realized how sad life is lately. Cherish those memories
Your first sentence reminds me of my own observation: Most really good Elvis impersonators would be good singers in their own right.
My family would be gathered around the TV in the living room to see Mitch Miller, Ed Sullivan, Bonanza, & The Wonderful World of Disney on a Sunday evening. It was our longest time spent together during a normal week. GOOD TIMES & Memories ;'--)
@@JayTemple As Elvis would say: "Thank-youuuu verrrrry muccch."
My heart went out to you Dana. Make sure you know Jesus so you can see the author of love, the friend who sticks closer than a brother. God bless
When he walked out as Sammy, I got the biggest smile on my face. ❤
Smile on your face? Do you have smiles elsewhere on your body?
How come he is only know available to hear, I'm 83 and never heard of him WHAT A PERFORMER
This guy is incredible! This is not the music I listen to, but you can’t deny greatness here!
I'm so glad to been born in the time that even an impressionist could sing much better than 75% of currently singers
His voice is a real treat let alone the personations
Well said.
I agree with you sir and I was born in the '80's
More like 99.9%
There's a lot of talent out there nowadays. Relax old timer, you're not that special
You truly are among the all-time greats, Mr. Anderson! Incredible!
First time l've heard or seen this. He's brilliant.
