He was even somewhat guarded on this shot not to mention it was a side step, it was an incredible make but if he missed that it would look like a stupid decision, that's when you typically know if a shot is good or not, if the shot being good depends on if it goes in or not it's most likely a bad shot selection.

    • That's a fact. The reason why is, if you're playing true great defense, and contesting EVERYTHING, you WILL be baptized, murdered, obliterated, ankles shattered, face popped, sniped over and/or through... it's all inevitable. It's the dedication and undying determination to put forth the highest effort possible to contest and slow or stop every single drive, pass, shimmy, spin, pivot and shot that matters, and that cause it to be inevitable. It just proves you're doing the dirty work, and the right thing the whole way through. It is exactly why Shawn Bradley got the reputation of being constantly posterized - he literally gave up on nothing and contesting every single shot.

I just checked and actually Dame made 62/172 from 32+feet thats 36% which is very good but has a big variance taking a shot from even further in last seconds when the score is already tied is a very bad decision. From closer Dame is 39% from the 3 point line, from 16 feet to < 3pointer he is 44%, and At the rim he has 60% efficiency not to mention he has a chance to draw a fault so when you are tied it is far better option to drive to the basket even if it was a more contested shot you have bigger chance to make 2 point or draw a fault. PG is right it was a bad shot and a bad decision in that situation. And i am telling this while i like Dame and i never really liked PG.

    • @@eLDYGames Also he was dead tired by the time he took that last shot in overtime, plus he was by himself on offense, Joe Harris couldn't hit a turtle with all his bricks...oh, and Kyrie was out....and Harden was playing with one good leg. I wouldn't count that game 7 in this argument, because he dropped almost 50 in the previous two games.

    • @@eLDYGames bruh idc if he’s a GOAT in folks eyes or not. The one fact that will always make him better than every other great player to me is that he never had an amazing coach. Coaching matters and he did that part by himself. His only great coach was his hs coach who taught him the value of getting everyone involved. He didn’t have to take that advice he could’ve very well said F it and made it all about him. He would’ve been had to all time scoring title if he did
