In this new entry into my stick figure summary video series, I summarize the 20th century classic Christian allegorical fantasy book series - the Chronicles of Narnia. I've done like five Tolkien videos, so this felt like a good next step for a fantasy installment.
If for some reason you're actually reading the description of a KZhead video, go check out my Roman history stick figure animation, it never got the attention of my fantasy vids.
00:00 Intro
00:20 The Magician's Nephew
02:27 The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
04:35 The Horse & His Boy
06:07 Prince Caspian
08:12 The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
12:11 The Silver Chair
14:25 The Last Battle
"Based & Aslan-Pilled" is an amazing line.
The ending of the series is very bittersweet but beautiful at the same time
Really underrated channel
the last book really gave some of that good ol' existential dread Alsan really just shut off the world and made it void. how terrifying.
definitely agree with the librarian that pub-order is the right way to read the books!
Aaaaaaah finally you are back!!! The king of fantasy recaps Is finally back!!!
Waiting for this to blow up. Amazing video
Fantastic video as per usual! :) Dawn Treader was always my favorite book, and it certainly has the most unique entrance into the world with the water spilling out the painting. Lewis definitely got creative with that one Also... could you say that Narnia in the Last Battle went a little... Ape Shift??? I will show myself out now.
Thanks John. Prince Caspian is still my favorite (though Horse and His Boy has grown on me), but the water coming out of the painting is a great transition into Narnia.
The world needs more Narnian content. So good job, this was a great video.
Thanks
Why are you not more popular yet? you make amazing videos.
Thanks, and probably because I only upload like one of these a year
Excellent video, keep it up!
Nice to relive my childhood memories ❤️
Usually people who read the series in timeline order drop the series long before finishing it. Most people agree that the quality of the series diminishes, from the first published book being the best to the last book being the worst. Most people who finish the entire series read the good ones first and got invested. Only finishing the last few books because of feeling obligated to. Hollywood ran into this problem Big time when they tried to adapt the books into movie scripts. With each movie being harder to adapt than the last. Here's the plot twist: The Silver Chair (4th Book Released) is a personal favorite of mine. I love it but I'm completely aware that it is not a great book at all.
I've never heard that take before. I know people don't like the Silver Chair, but I've never heard of a downward trendline generally in the series. Prince Caspian was my favorite as a kid.
@@JPKloess it's pretty much what I've heard from everybody my entire life. Friends, family, and internet.
Wow I didn't even realize this had been posted 30 minutes ago when I watched it!
