It’s not about good at Math. It’s how fast can you count plus remembering the count through the deck
Hopefully I explained this in a way that made sense 😅 If anyone reading this has any Q’s feel free to reply and I’ll try and answer

Im confused on the idea that bad players don't effect the game? If the count is high that means that there are more pictures left so if another player hits now the odds of a picture busting the dealer has gone down(assuming he gets a picture which is Lilley)

Does card counting work in online blackjack?
Tried to explain this to my friends and they said I'm just talking crap. People believe everything they see in movies and think people that count cards can rinse casinos for million but its not true. It just flips the dealer advantage, Essentially you're just a really good blackjack player.

Pretty simple if loads of low cards get dealt more low than high bet big when majority a of cards are high don't... Low cards pretty much stay count them on table and that means dealers deck has higher chance busting

Just for reference when i day trade i roughly hit 50% of the time but when i do i make atleast 2.5 times more. 1% in your favour, those swings man, CCs need balls of steel

That's just diligence, stop making excuses, everyone would want to get distracted, ADHD has not been seen under a functional MRI and has not been empirically proven to exist. Stop making excuses and take some responsibility, stop taking whatever drugs you are being pumped with and turn your life around because nobody else is going to do it for you.
Why doesn’t the house shuffle the deck each round then? That makes the most sense for the house right?
they answered this in the full pod, apparently it takes too much time for the house so they can’t play as many games :-)
@@benshier1152 That’s dumb, have two distinct decks and an auto shuffler. One deck shuffled while the game is being played. Isn’t that hard.
@@Moist_Otherworld you’re underestimating the cost of even a few seconds multiplied by every round for all the tables at the casinos for a year. It’s wild what a difference it would make
@@stevenbridges yes and that’s why I had said that they can have one deck that’s shuffling while another deck is being played, once that game is over then they start a new round with the freshly shuffled deck and so forth

This can't be done in the UK as nearly all casino's have shuffle machines.
And they use 6 decks of cards in one machine

@@OliTom yeah unfortunately I've played in far too many UK casino's in many different parts of the UK and all use shuffle machines with 6+ decks.
@@Jamie-ds1gf the amount of decks doesn't stop you from card counting, only slows you down. Basically you divide the amount of the decks with the running number. The skill is to accurately predict the amount of decks in the shoe.

You will beat the casino if you have an edge, and play enough hours correctly for that edge to have effect. This isn't gambling or playing for fun. Having said that, it's definitely only for a select few. Similar to daytrading, if you can't learn the rules and maintain discipline to stick to them, or you dont have the mindset to weather the losing streaks, or you have an urge to make money quickly/become rich, you will fail.
Mathematically and facts show card counting works. Because of the simplicity that you have the edge. Just hard because everyone knows nowadays so you can get backed off very fast

I mean card counting isn't that hard in theory lol. It's basic arthritic and memory. It's not rocket science
You might mean arithmetic - though I suppose you could get finger arthritis from playing cards all the time
