  • S1 quattro remains an absolute legend to this day ! The modern models look cool but don't do what the old model does ! That car resembles a dragon spitting fire , sounds so aggressive , so alive , the new model was just driving ...LOL

    • why not just put the 5cy of the rs3 and ttrs into the A5 ? =Audi Coupe with longitudinal engine and rear biased quattro. I wouldn't neet 500+ hp (Sound makes up for the hp.)

    • @@wra45 Becuase alot of people wont buy it/dont have the money like you and me. If they did make it theyd probably sell a few thousand worldwide via special orders. If we really want an affordable 'performance' car us poor enthusiasts can buy in a few years once theyre used and cheap Manufacturers need to make mass produced cars with base engines so by the time we can buy them all we need to do is upgrade the turbo. Remember the good old b4/5 passats and a4s and how you can get a pretty much 1.8 turbo 4 in a awd car for wicked cheap and upgrade the turbo, exhaust and new tune and you can easily make 300-400hp? Thats what we need.

    • This sound will never be forgotten.. these Group-B quattro ( IMSA, pikes peak..) should still run as historical for generations to come to hear themselves what pure rally beasts should sound like.. would love to see Group-S cars as well i know they exist at least in museums Audi Sport Quattro S (Ken Block lucky enough to test it) Lancia ECV1 & ECV2, Ford RS 200 Group-S, Peugeot 405 T16 sport 4x4 +Peugeot Quasar Group-S, Toyota MR 222-D, Mazda RX7S, Mitsubishi Starion 4WD, Nissan MiD4, Opel Astra 4x4 Group-S, Lada EVA Group-S

    • TT is a esp car. The first ones crashed a lot. So Audi have give them esp. My S2 Coupe still not need this.

    • You get a hyundai ioniq for 30k why would audi sell supercar performance for that price? Cheapest 600hp on market is ZL1 wich is plastic galore with a “bomb” under the hood

    • Das erinnert daran, was richtige rally mal war...70er, 80er, 90er. Heute sind alle viel zu sicherheits- und umweltzentriert, deshalb werden auch keine ordentlichen Autos mehr gebaut.

    • Ok but the sound isn't anything, just look carefully at 10.06 is an Audi R8 it doesn't sound that loud even though it has a V8 or a V10 but it goes like crazy fast.. that is the hole point specially for rally cars.. so ok, even though S1 is a beast of machine it needs a skilled driver (like: Michelle Mouton, Walter Rohrl, Ari Vatanen, Hannu Mikkola, Stig Blomqvist, Juhha Kannkunen) to move fast & quickly on such twisty roads otherwise it looks slow like a wounded race horse limping on one foot.. all are super capable race cars that are not driven flat-out, not impressive !

    • @@poplaurentiu4148 you are correct about that, but sound is always a good plus to the whole package. Once i was admiring a parked Ferrari and soon after that i saw that car drining away... It sounded like an old Volkswagen beetle with damaged exhausts... Totally disappointing for a car enthusiast.
