    • Both the soldiers and the traffickers new the game is up. There was no way of them getting out of this situation alive except in handcuffs. No one would choose getting drowned in a swimming coffin than some years in prison. Still, it requires some serious braveness to jump on that thing and stick your head over the opening, no doubt.

    • It might be one of those drug Subs that can't actually dive underwater, but only partially submerge itself. So maybe the hatch is already opened, or can be broken open. Or perhaps they were already caught and just gave up. For the best considered method 2 is C4. Lol
