Hello there, how do you feel about using a backpack with drawstring closure as opposed to the traditional zipper closure like in the Michael backpack? I have to admit I didn't like the Christopher backpack at first, but its really growing on me the more and more I see videos on it. The side pockets would be awesome for sunglasses, transit pass, keys and items you need to retrieve quick. Would love to get your opinion on the drawstring closure. Thank you and great video

Testing the bag aesthetics when under a heavy load, no load, and seeing how bad the bag can be made to accidentally look via a crumpled aesthetic if you are quickly putting it on or bumping into things with it on while empty would be nice. IMO you should have put for example a 10lbs dumbbell and then separately a 20lbs dumbbell. Then you should have done a test with nothing in it and then bump against a chair or something while it is on your back to see if it could end up with a crumpled look while getting around crowds. Just my 2cents.

Hey man, I’ve been watching your stuff for a while but never subbed. Till now lol So I also own quite a bit of LV, Hermès and Gucci gear, however, no backpacks. I need something for med school and would like your opinion. Keep in mind, my average book (one book) is 5-12 lbs, and I’ll carry 1-3 at a time. I can’t decide between Michael or the Christopher pm (both in graphite) The straps worry me on the pm a lot, they look like they won’t last longer than a year. They seem as tough as on the keepalls I just don’t want to order it and have to send it back nd re go trough the same process over again lol. What’s your professional suggestion ?

Sorry for late reply! Between the two I think its better in Macassar. The Graphite in my opinion looks best in the Michael design which I why I went with that one as well. Thats just my opinion of course

That is a tough call... Epi is a leather and will require a bit more care (i baby my bags so i never worry) but epi is still a very sturdy leather but it will wear over time with use (I rotate my bags) any ways, the canvas version I love and dont worry too much about. I think you will be fine with either but if its going to be a main bag and used a lot, id probably do canvas and get epi down the road

Hey, I am not familiar with cameras but I would most certainly think the camera would fit in the main compartment and accessories in the pockets. You should bring your camera to the LV store to double check with a backpack they have to see!

Hey matt, I was wondering since you have both Micheal and Christoper. I purchased a Micheal from my local LV web store and I'm waiting for it to arrive i was wondering how much of a difference is the bag packs, i got myself a Michael damier infini. Store near my have a lot of china tourist who usually purchase them all up because they will get to do a duty free claim before leaving so I wasn't able to see any of them in store, your opinion would be great. Hey! congrats on the piece, trays a really nice one. There are obvious differences between the two. i find the Michael to be a bit more structured but within time the leather will soften which is normal. The two styles are my favorite ones LV has to offer since they are so different but the best for me id say. The exterior pockets come in handy on the Chris but I do not use them too often. I like the zippers on the michael how theres so many of the,, the hardware makes it pop. You cannot go wrong with either!

Lovely backpack ! Only thing I dislike is its quality build not the material so much. I literally purchased this bag a few days ago and I haven't had the chance to actually look at it until today and when I unbuttoned the straps one of the buttons broke . the whole button insert detached off the backpack 🤬🤬🤬 thats very irritating knowing how much Ive been wanting this bag let alone how much it cost !! Not what I expected from LV and being a Brand New Bag out the box !! Now I hope to get a refund .

Hey! For me I choose the Christopher because I do not care for the "lid" that the zack seems to have on the top, just looks so boxy... looks funny to me but I think over all you cant go wrong with either

I rotate my bags so often because I like to switch them up. However I know many who use it daily and no issues. You should be totally fine with a laptop and book, I use my stuff for work and carry a lot and no issues here

Sorry for late reply! Between the two I think its better in Macassar. The Graphite in my opinion looks best in the Michael design which I why I went with that one as well. Thats just my opinion of course
