I feel like most Gorillaz fans or people that saw this concert don’t know what Del actually looks like, they’re so used to seeing the ghost rapper, that they didn’t go crazy when he appeared. But, that might just be me :)

wish that there was a higher quality version with better audio my favourite part of clint eastwood is the lyrics, and i like to listen to the live performances sometimes to vary up the songs, and the different rap lyrics in the versions with other artists never worked the same for me

I don't know if you know, but you can't hear Del's whisper when he says "It's all in your head." in that clip. this happens because the music is made up of two equal tracks, but when Del's speech is mentioned, the tracks cancel each other out. Whisper can only be heard with headphones.

Fuck, I love Del, incredible live energy for a rapper. I'd much rather see him than Wu Tang or many other more acclaimed rappers, they don't have the same live presence (save for the late ODB), they don't know how to use their voices.

Del knocks it! But what you gonna say? It's Poland. Still, Gorillaz gets a good chunk of the best artists to collab with 'em. We, further west, get it. That's all that matters. Culture travels from west to easy, and from east to west. Those in the middle need to figure out what works for them, then synthesize it and see if it rebounds. That's all.

Holy crap after like 20 years Dell is finally up there doing the actual lyrics again they've had some pretty bad versions with some pretty bad wrappers over the years. I don't know what the disagreement was about between the gorillas and Dell the funky homosapien but for a long long time they weren't able to use his lyrics anymore for the live versions.
