Car manufacturers really just need to make a blank space in the dash for phones to rest and stay still
Yes, once a manufacturer installs one, the rest will follow up. The ones currently available are too cumbersome.
I agree. Have never found one that works. Pain
Agreed, wish they would all hide a metal plate accessible under a tab on the dash or something.
Most cars now have apple and Google play when the phone is connected or comes through via the radio screen. So not sure why spaces need to be made. Just connect it to the intel system in the car and leave the phone in your pocket. 🤣
@@harveylinney I don’t want to pay for an entertainment center for a car. Don’t need one with a large iPhone or tablet. Blank space would bring price down too for base models
As a guy that drives a manual the cup holder is right where the shift nob is at💀
Anything with a suction hold is rubbish. Designers just can't seem to come up with a good phone holder. We can go to Mars but not make one of these that is worth buying.
I agree. The issue with suction is that it melts when it's very hot and turns into a gooey mess.
My phone fell off because of the suction holder problem Due to heat, suction holder came off and phone fell all the way down badly. Since then i avoid this bloody suction things
My MPOW hasn’t let me down once!
We've never even been to the moon, let alone Mars, but I get what you're saying.
The Vent mounts are known to break vents. I've also had people report the mount breaking the radio when the vent mount breaks off and falls. I recommend Rennline and Coarse motorsports for a much better mount solution and a better looking design.
Thanks for your valuable feedback. It may happen in few instances or you had an experience but in our testing they work fine.
not only that but what if you have the heat on? itll overheat your phone.
And you can't swivel the vent
7:45 😆 Yeah one hand, riiiiiiight.
you don’t have a car but your here thumbs up
I woukd avoid the Iotti. They work well at first however since it has moving parts thdy go bad. I would stick with his number 2 pick.
I hate those airvent phone holders, just for simply blocking the airvent on a hot day
I completely understand your frustration! Airvent phone holders can indeed be a bit inconvenient, especially on hot days when you need that airflow. Have you found an alternative phone holder that works better for you? It's always a journey to find the perfect balance between convenience and comfort. If you have any recommendations or thoughts, I'd love to hear them!
right!? those holders never made sense to me. Plus, they tear up your vent flaps.
But if you using gps and internet on your phone so on a hot day phone getting hotter and air vent keep cooling the phone.
it's 2023 & car manufacturers make useless infotainment screen. at least they should built-in phone holder no doubt that holders with grips design is the best one but after using it for a long time i figured out that upper grips is blocking letter in the edges of the phone keyboard. so im looking now for upper grips that is a bit higher to be above phone keyboard
Yes, we agree with your observation and we recommend you the most suitable holder keeping in view the problem you have mentioned. If you are an Android phone user then this will make your life easy: Kenu Airframe Pro: amzn.to/3kEqev2 And if you are an iphone user then try this: Belkin Car Vent Mount Pro: amzn.to/3HnTXQL
Very nice,,
Thank you for liking the video.
The best is carmount
Most people have their phone in a case - e.g. leather with folding cover. Also most people want to connect their phone to power and so need the USB/charge port on their phone to be connected. Not really a real world test, is it?
What does "most people" mean in your sentence?
Any mount that blocks the aircon vent is just stupid and bad design
3:23 proceeds to attach to the dash
I just checked and it's legit 20$ extra for the part to attach to the dash, what a joke
Kenu is great until you realize how cheap the material is and how it breaks without much cause. Hence why I’m looking for a new one here …
The air vent holders are the absolutely worst. I will never own another. Been thinking about getting the one that attached to your rearview mirror. I’ve got the weather tech cup mount & sucks. Can’t use it with a iPhone max with a Otterbox case. What’s the point. Don’t they know most people have phone cases. It’s ridicules.
Vents car phone holders make no sense as blowing heat on your device can cause the device to overheat.
duh just turn off the vent that its attached to then?
@@sanderr.6402 Duh is cold in the winter. I want the heat on .
Is this thing safe on direct sun when car is not driving?
What thing?
