    • Did you see any of the other sht from the 80s and 90s? Not ahead of her time she was made EXACTLY for the times she thrived in. No, everything today (pop I mean, there is actually some good stuff out there but it's not popular) is decidedly BEHIND the times. Art and music should be aeons ahead of what it is. What happens when social part of civilization gets bogged down. This is one of those eras.

  • This song I picked for my wedding. I am Deaf and born this way. I can hear bass and beats in musics and I cannot understand the voices. I fell in love with this song and I don’t know why. I picked this song for my wedding and fast forward to today. Technology, Bluetooth hearing devices comes in the picture. I finally remembered and came to read the lyrics.   • I've adored this song since its release back in the early 90's. I remember my grandmother had bought me a pink liquid glitter filled lava lamp. This song was playing on MTV while the pink hue light reflected off the glitter inside the lamp all over my walls and ceiling. It gave off beautiful reflections like a pink ocean. I thought if the lamp was blue it would make me feel like mermaid Sade, singing to my love underwater. It took me 32 years but i finally got my blue filled glitter lava lamp. I watch the reflection like water on my walls and ceiling now while listening to this song. Hopefully soon I'll get to share this song and underwater experience with my long lost love (we're reconnecting after 20 years apart with both of us with failed relationships). I'll forever adore this song.
