  • Instead of the hot glue which is not going to stick to that metal but for one hit why not just buy cheap rubber mallet

    • I have one of these tiny little hammers. A large rubber ferrule fits onto it PERFECTLY turning it into a rubber mallet.

  • Thanks - Some good ideas here, but the rubber band on the door? - I`d rather just fix the door properly. Regarding the car bumper indicator, I used to hang a piece of string like a plumbline a few inches away from the garage end wall and watch the string - cost nothing

  • Great tips but the tip at 1:26 is pointless as the dowels serve no purpose so you can just as well join the wood pieces together without the dowels.

  • @ 1:40 - You're really not supposed to slam the drill into the work surface. You're also not supposed to use so much force on the drill that you lose control of it once the bit punches through the workpiece.

  • I'll use these EVERY day? Lol. Most of them are dumb "hacks" to get around using the correct tool or repair. The useful ones are already known.

    • Seems more farcical than anything. Every one of these can be accomplished with very inexpensive tools and if you don't happen to have the cheapo tools on hand there's a very good chance you won't remember these "hacks" when the time comes.. LOL The entertainment value is top notch however.

    • @@dinabentley1207 you know it's kind of comical how you're saying all these things yet you still throw in insults and bash other people all because supposedly I'm going after someone else so basically what you're admitting is you're a huge hypocrite. Also please let me know your address so that way when you have an emergency you can put rubber bands on your door so we can all come in and hang out at your house you know what I mean if it's an emergency I don't think a rubber band's going to deter anyone or help anyone in any way at all. It's not being negative it's hoping that someone that thinks that this is a good idea to put rubber bands to hold their door shut will read the comment and come to their senses and realize that oh yeah that's about as dumb as someone that is a hypocrite 🤡
