    • Yep. Potato is "pomme de terre," or "apple of the earth"--but maybe when they know which one they're talking about they just shorten it to "pomme"? A native speaker will have to let us know.

    • I'm sure Carla said "lengthwise" or "the long side" but they just cut it out. You'll notice if you watch carefully there are lots of edits in these videos where the guest has something incorrect and then jump cut and now it's fixed. I'm sure this took longer than 15 minutes to film.

  • At 12:04 Hailee's oil temp is only at 251F rather than the proper 325F as was the chef's. No wonder her batch wasn't cooking as quickly as the chef's batch. First, they give her the wrong ruler then they give her the lowest temperature cooking oil. She was being sabotaged! 😂
