Hi very useful video just had a quick question, every time I set off to drive I turn off the lane assistance because I don’t like driving with it switched on, is there anyway I can save that setting to my car so I don’t have to remotely turn it off every-time I switch my car on?
Thanks for the comment. You do need to switch it off everytime the car has switched off for a long time. I have done a separate video about this in the C-Class Playlist about lane keeping assist and the other safety systems. Check it out because I have suggested to use the system but set it to react later rather than sooner. Check out that video and let me know your thoughts?
whats also i like best is the new updated mbux homescreen if you hold home button you switch to it. it slow always navigation and at bottom widgets with music etc.. so you dont need to scroll anywhere. the old mbux home screen is too bad while driving
I do agree that the new MBUX update is definitely better. It may even be the best system on the market.

I am not sure but it is the next generation of MBUX. Cars that definitely have this MBUX software is the latest S-Class, EQE and EQS from the top of my head.

If you have an iPhone case that usually allows Qi charging, you have to remove the little rubber mat from the wireless charging station for it to work consistently (or at all in my case.)
The case I have on my iPhone still allows me to charge wirelessly.

Some of the tricks might work on your car. You will need to test it. Depending what country you have bought your car, options and features can be different.

Are the vent lights standard on all c classes? Or only on certain packages?

A Mercedes-Benz dealer may not want to add the lights but there might be other companies that are able to do it. Your warranty might be effected if you do go through a third party.
@@mookodebarge Don’t bother with the expense. I have that “feature” and hardly notice it.
4:14 How to unlock all windows using the key. I hate this feature on my car. Found my car early morning twice with all windows down. (keyfob in pocket together with other keys pushing the button) First time some time after delivery, turned it off immediately. Second time after battery replacement, apparently "ON" is the default setting, which is really stupid IMO. Both incident no damage, minor rain on second incident. I'm sure my car also unlocks itself from time to time while keyfob is in my pocket, but atleast it will lock itself again after 1 min of not opening any doors.
Sounds like a nightmare. From what you have described I would suggest separating your car key from the rest of your keys and then using both pockets (one for your car key and the other pocket for your other keys). Or you could put the keys in a bag or pouch that you can carry instead of putting your keys in your pocket.
My key FOB does not lower the windows. How do I turn that capability on?
If your car does not have the keyless door handles then usually on a modern Mercedes the windows do not go down.
The rain sensor on the windshield is supposed to close your windows and moon roof automatically.
This is a useful feature but some Mercedes models do not do it. I would recommend you spray some water on your windscreen (where the sensor is at the top) to test if your car can or can’t do it.

A5 is really nice and has a much more sportier shape. Let me know how you get on with that great car.
One major issue that I had was adjusting the seats. It is very different than the previous model and both doors need to be closed in order for the seats to be adjusted. That is something you need to cover
That is a weird quirk of the car. The previous model you could definitely do that. I will test it next time I am at the dealership.
mine is weird you have to be sitting on the seat order to move them doesn’t matter about the doors
I hate that so much there is times I let my girl borrow my car and she is much shorter there is no way I can adjust the seat sitting down therefore it doesn’t even work so annoying
I can see I forgot to check this out. But I will try to find out a better solution for this strange quirk in the next couple months.

Watch the video from 21:48 after watching the video when you get to the mileage section, you just need to press/push the button and then you will be prompted to reset the trip ometer. I think you are talking about buying things online. I would recommend you ask your supplying dealer to activate/setup your Mercedes Me account. No cigarette lighter port on the new C-Class. Instead they have provided USB-C
Actually, the car does have one. It’s on the front passenger’s seat towards where the left leg is resting if you’re in the states

I have had an issue with C class 22 300 today. The remote wouldn’t work at all. Gave me no warning. I opened it with Mercedes’ me app. But still could not start the car. I’m upset that u cannot start car with the key in this situation. I would not buy it , if I knew. As it makes the car Unreliable .
I am really sorry to hear this. You can put the key in the armrest and there is an area where the key can be charged and is supposed to be able to start the car when placed there. If you watch my other video called NEW 2022 Mercedes C-Class. All you need to know interior and exterior video at 20:04 you can see where you can place your key. Also I recommend you swap your keys every other month and use your spare key to key the charge.

Mercedes dealer replaced battery & it worked. No satisfactory answer to why it did not warn me of flat battery or work in the console position. He tried it & it wouldn’t work for him either. Really not happy driving knowing I can get stuck at anytime with no resolution. 😡
I would recommend swapping your key to the spare key once a month or every other month. Using both keys is also good practice to hold the charge for both keys. Let me know how you get to on :) Don’t ever hesitate to call Mercedes-Benz Breakdown support who you can call from the app if you ever have this issue again.
Only beginners use their remote to lock and unlock all he Benz Touch the door handles and Phuck the neighbors

@@DrSaahb lol baby will be fine. There are horns blaring, fire truck and police sirens going at all times of day and night in my beloved NYC! Trust me that baby needs to trained to have a spine!

Which country have you bought your car from? Sounds like it needs to be repaired under warranty.
It’s all old tech. Just on an i pad. Once it goes wrong, and it will, the dealer won’t be able to deal with it.😆

@@DrSaahb I took a c63 back after 30 miles with missing intercooler fluid and no signs of leaks. 5 techs stood looking under the bonnet saying “we don’t know where to start”. Mmm. Not confidence inspiring. After 15 minutes they gave me 2 bottles of coolant( which it used in 20 miles) and told me to monitor it. 🫣
I am really sorry to hear this. Hopefully they can get this sorted soon for you. In an emergency/Breakdown ensure you use the SOS/Mercedes Me button above the rear view mirror. The only other suggestion I have is to not rev the car over 4,500 rpm for the first 1,000 miles and do not drive over 85mph so that the car “runs in”. Thinking about Apple products I did have an iPhone that went faulty and it was repaired under warranty. Hopefully this issue is resolved. Let me know how you get on please?
