the thing about that is they said every biome we voted on is being added so they are probably waiting until they update them and then do a new one (hopefully for new biomes instead of just updates)

Minecraft, you should make the mob vote better by adding two additional mobs to each vote of choice. They should be equal to each other, ex: all 3 choices will have a: dangerous mob, cute mob and a old mob from an older mob vote. I think this would even out the satisfaction from your fans and gain popularity for the involvement by fans in to the game too. Hope Minecraft reads this and gives this a thought.🤔🤔
It's not possible to have a mob vote without the rejects becoming permanent lore that the community will never let go of.

The frog and mangle biome was a reject, but all the biomes from the biome vote seem to be the exception when bringing back rejects

Can you guys please add common birds already? Crows, woodpeckers, bluejays, doves, etc. they would just fly around in the sky in a lot of biomes. The game is so dull and empty it needs them. They’d also be chirping all the time
This is how each mob should work Duck-swim and water/fly in sky and if you have bread you can breed them. Goose-Lays eggs and are very protective they will also open chests and take and item and run away with it. Idk the threed Mob

Minecraft.. Can you add ducks into minecraft? I think I have an idea for them, 1 they spawn in swamps, and mangrove swamps, drop duck meat, they would have a wobbly walking animation, you can breed them with cod, and salmon.. And they'll drop duck feathers, the feathers would be craft into a new arrow, "speed arrow" the speed arrow would used to use a bow with no cool downs, ok maybe a little cool down, but only 2 second cool down.. so you can fight the ender dragon with fast arrows, and they come in different varientions, and Yeah that's all I can think of..
Sometimes i find my inventory full to the brim with enchanted books. Maybe there should be a way to store several e-books in one slot? Like a portable bookcase 🙂 If you don't know where the bathroom is, and you've been stuck in the studio for a month... Where do YOU relieve your.. duty?
With all the duck reference in this one video, I think it’s safe to say Mojang is adding ducks to the next update.

Honestly they should make plushies of all the mob vote contestants (counting old ones), so fans would be able to buy the plush of their favorite mob even if they don’t win.

All 3 mobs have been revealed for the mob vote this year which are the the Crab, the Armadillo, and the Penguin. So that means the Duck might be already a part of 1.21!

Would love to see the mob vote have 2 rounds, 1 round between 3 brand new mob concepts and 1 round for several previous concepts

I like the idea in paper, but that might mean doubling the work they have to do since it's 2 mobs instead of one. It might get things to complicated.

Or maybe even improve the phantom. Once you have unbreaking and mending on an Elytra, are there any positives to a Phantom? Maybe the phantom could drop guts or eyes or something that can be applied to elytra for bonus buffs like extra fast, hover mode, etc.

They did moonbloom wrong :'( Also as someone who used to raise ducks, those are ducks in the video lol. Just domesticated ones. Geese are a bit taller and built differently. Their bills look differently compared to ducks too. Some kinda have like a knot at the top of their bills but not all of them

Welcome to mod vote we have. Kraken-a new boss that lives in deep ocean. Defeating him you gain special fleash that you can upgrade your armor and tools. The Warden dragon- a giant dragon who sleeps in forgotten world when it controls Wardens. Defeating him Wardens are passive to you and you gain new scales to craft a new armor and wepons. A duck-Quack and why not this adorable creature who swims on water and keeps quacking.
If we get the villager rebalancing, then can we also remove, if not rebalance the "It's Too Expensive" limit on the amount of xp we can use on anvils to combine items and enchantment books please?

Doesnt solve the problem, as theres still so many people that will be upset that their mob didnt make it in. The best thing to do is very simply, just add all three to the game and keep the whole voting thing out of it, but thats never gonna happen because the interaction, positive or negative, is free advertisment.

Would be dope to make an update of the old (however many they decide, like all the past ones or the first 5 or so-) mob vote guys, like all the second place winners and call it the "Runners Up-date" aka runners up update lol. Like, as a general MC update, where it can add other stuff to fit with the theme, but mainly the mobs. Cause I know most of them I would still love to see in the game! Maybe even later, make a third place of the same set as another update, so Minecraft can become really cool and diverse with all the epic mobs from votes! ^w^ Would be cool, but it's probably not happening sadly... Would love to see the old second and third place winners be added to MC eventually! A lot of the time it's hard for me to vote on just one! They're all so cool.
For REAL, ducks would be a SUPER simple addition to the game. Just have the chickens spawning in swamps reskin to them, the same way Skeletons and other mobs change depending on biome. Easy to implement, adds more variety, could even have em drop lily pads instead of raw chicken meat if you wanted, to give em a unique use!
I would hope they put a tiny bit more effort into it than that. Even domesticated ducks fly, so it would be pretty disappointing if these don’t.

The bad thing about electing between the three conceptualized mobs is that you aren't choosing one winner to implement, but which two to delete forever.

Not forever. The "forever" thing only applies to the first mob vote. And I guesd to the glare, no one cares about it

Something that would be a lot of fun is a new type of wood but it can only be found in the end like some sort of end wood it would only be found in the outer end islands and maybe new structures in the end too basically an entire new end update would be soooooo cool

One of the things I’ve wanted most is biome-specific music. Some snowy themes, desert themes, jungle themes. Maybe slightly unsettling music when you’re in the deep dark, and cheerful music when you’re in a big flower patch.

@@FunFactManiac_Gaming Maybe I’ve been away too long. I mean just more then. I think Terraria did this pretty well. You always can tell where you’re at just based on music instead of just having default music in the background.

Ducks are the only thing we needed in Minecraft. This will be the most hype update of all time.
Honest opinion, stop the mob votes- please. And bring back the biome votes, those were so much better cuz not only would we get a chance to gaining new mobs, we could have existing biomes be improved or entirely new biomes.

I 100% agree with it being replaced honestly, biome votes are so much more exiting, overworld biomes need a revamp.

I hope we see stairs, slabs and walls of terracotta and concrete blocks. This could make Minecraft builds way more colorful, because concrete and terracotta would have more blocks for detailing and concrete and terracotta could be more useful in builds made out of other blocks (like different stones, woods, prismarine etc). Currently Concrete and Terracotta are criminally under used and because of that you see in builds that brown, gray, black, white and orange colors dominate.

If they don't add ducks to the game on 1.21, I honestly will not be sure what to trust. Also, Moobloom also got quite some attention this time. Maybe we get to see it comming as a "surprise" mob? Crossing my fingers for that. The more, the better.
My imagination for this update is, the Neutral update, adding ducks , mooblooms , birch forest, new flowers!
If they don't do something with the Moobloom, that'll be upsetting, because the thought of them making all those references just to do nothing feels like they're rubbing the loss in our faces.

As much as the Mob Votes allow the community to have a say on the mob that joins the game, it also creates a huge disagreement between players and for some votes ends up in a lot of division and disappointment among players
The community shouldnt have a say at all in how the game should be made. Look what happened, the community has became idiotic and ungrateful. Mojang shouldnt have gave the community a voice, but its not too late to take it back.

@@Master_Brutus I disagree, but I see where you're coming from. It should be a balance of power. For example, Terraria takes some inspiration from the community to what is needed in the game but doesn't add every other thing; This keeps the community grateful as it shows the developers care for its players whilst not compromising the care they have for the game. That's to say, throughout history the power of kings between their people have shown to be widely accepted when balanced; It's only when the scales tip when chaos breaks loose. With this context, I think you'd be pleased if Mojang simply had a concrete roadmap toward what they want the game to be. This way, the potential disappointment of community intervention could be overshadowed by a well planned update with a plus of the players respect.

I'm going to be very interested about this year's mobs (looking forward to the in game voting server again far more efficient and accurate than doing it on twitter) however I'm slightly concerned about influencers using their influence to sway the vote in their favour (or simply put I'm sightly concerned about the repeating of the 2020 mob vote incident all over again)

Ever since 1.20 I've really wanted a flower called the rain lily. A blue droopy flower that produces water particles from the under side. This flower would be located in meadows and maybe plains. Idk, it's a suggestion.
y'know, I've also been the of an armor enchantment called curse of repellant. The curse just repels passive mobs. Not much, but mixed the binding, it would be a funny prank.

What about making it craftable instead of making it so it’s possible to find it in the wild? Like, using one of those blue flowers (can’t remember the name) with a heart of the sea? It’d be cool in my opinion.

wouldn't a better way for the mob vote be: a few more options to choose from, the top x will be in the game. this way one single influencer cant rigg the vote vote by him self per se. Just something that came to mind. have a nice day :D

Also Mojang said eventually they'll drop hints, alot of duck references. The moobloom one probably isn't important, but I would love to see previous runner ups be in a vote
I miss Moobloom =( I also miss when we would vote for more than just entities in the game- Like the biome votes (haven't had one in years at this point since the mountains update)
For the villager experimental features, I am still neutral about them. As an explorer and a challenges seeker, I do like it to get an extra challenge to gain the stuff I need. What I was slightly disappointed about was how certain armourers now sell diamond armor pieces with curse of binding, and how there were no new village variants to fit with the changes (a jungle village maybe wouldnt fit in such a dense biome, but what about swamps?) I will not do my full judgement until those features are fully implemented into the game, and when they are, hopefully they satisfy at least the big part of the MC community
Mojang should add the biomes from the previous updates and add some of the mob vote losers but I think the most important thing Mojang should add is to make Minecraft bedrocks juke box work also add the bundle it was since 4 years ago.

im still not sure what the point of the whole vote thing is if they’re able to code them enough to make a trailer then surely they’re able to put them all in the game and save needless millions of arguments every year
They don’t actually code them into the game from what I remember from previous ones They show you a small animation of what it is but don’t actually show you it in game Modders put them in game before the final vote
Publicity. Also animation is much different than game.
its a concept they show, not actually coded. there is no artwork or code added for the mob yet, hence why it comes in the middle of update development

Will ducks lay eggs like turtles? Should they switch up chicken egg mechanics to require roosting or something? Assuming they add the duck
