  • What is your view on a benelli? I have both the A400 and the Benelli SBE3. I do pretty great with both but seems like everytime I shoot better with my benelli. Pattern both the same over and over again. The only difference I can tell is the weight of both guns. Everyone I ask says the A400 is better. Just seems like I always shoot better with the benelli. What is your thoughts?

  • I know your chokes work great. I might have missed it but, what choke were you using?

  • I use TSS with some steel on top. Usually #9 TSS and #5 steel. 50/50 mix. it will make the TSS start to spread out at 35 yards. By 60 it's bigger than a basketball.

    • @@csevans88 28g fiocchi or cheddite shell, 23g lil gun, tps wad. 1 oz load. 216grain tss #9, 210 grain steelwads. Normally 50/50 on shot, but stack height worked best this way.

  • I wish this covered pellet momentum (lb-ft/sec), energy (lb-ft), and energy density (lb-ft/in2) at distance (yds) for various shot sizes. Obviously there is a reason why we don't use #7 steel shot size on giant Canada geese at 40 yds, even though steel #7 shot size has more pellets than steel BB shot size pellets.

    • Hello Mike obviously, at some point it comes to common sense after a while… There's no reason to list all of that technical information because it becomes almost infinite babble… Use basic knowledge, I have already posted in many videos about shots size and distances. You can just google and you'll know what shot sizes work at what distances… for example I do not use steel number seven past twenty five yards due to light weight. However in the right circumstances with the right load and the right Choke and the right game or target I could push that distance further.

    • You have a total of 13 videos on this channel. None of them appear to cover the topics described. The information presented in this video is neither clear, concise, nor "obvious" in relation to the aforementioned details. Quotes like "steel is king..." is very misleading and ignores discussion of other technical data required to provide clear analysis. This video and line of logic does not convey knowledge and understanding of the topic necessary to explain the details of shotgun shell load and ballistics. By the defensive response, it's not clear that you understand these topics and trying to compensate for lack of knowledge on the subject.
