SHAKSHUKA. Incredibly delicious dish with eggs! Perfect for breakfast or lunch
Everyone should try Shakshuka at least once in their life! This is a very tasty, satisfying and beautiful dish.
And its delicious aroma will not leave anyone indifferent!
Onion - 1 piece
1 pepper ~ 200 gr
3 tomatoes ~ 400 gr
Tomato sauce (ketchup) - 30-40 g - optional
Black pepper - a pinch
Salt - 1 tsp
Dried coriander (or cumin) - 1.5 tbsp
Garlic - 2 cloves
5 eggs + a pinch of salt
Fresh dill - to taste.
For frying:
Olive oil - 40-45 ml
Butter - 30-40 g.
Croutons: Quickly fry the bread on both sides in butter.
Shakshuka cooks for about 15-20 minutes over medium heat.
First add the onion, fry it until translucent.
Then simmer the pepper for a few minutes.
Next add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, seasonings, garlic.
Cook until vegetables are semi-soft.
At the end, reduce the heat, add the eggs, wait until the whites turn white.
Serve the dish hot with crispy croutons!
