Yeah this process if very repetitious and sometimes frustrating because of the materials you have to work with but in the end it’s worth it. Keep up the good work

It's not being crushed down . The overloading of the sub layers make them shift and be pushed away by the fill. If there was no water you would see a land slide of clay or mud being released. This kind of movements can be very fast and swallow up whole bull dozers or excavators. This are is not a good place to build on without proper ground reinforcement. Like pilings driven down to solid ground. The coitus filling may also make the nabors lot starting to slide subside ! Look up" quick clay landslide" .
I watched this for Months. Do you have film of the finished Job, as they slowly started to fill in the Lake!! iam sure it probably has all sunk by now :)
If I'm on a work site and i see the Earth moving i would stop the Trucks until the Earth stop Moving. Common sense.

Poor dozer operator skills! When bridge lifting into unknown waters, you MUST charge your lift! Experience is worth a lot and the sooner someone can share with the operator how to do this, we won’t have sluff videos to watch.
