Updated Tornado Damage Report - Clarksville, TN (12/10/23)
UPDATE: a preliminary report classified the tornado as an EF3 with winds at 150 miles per hour and a width of 600 yards (1800 feet). All CMCSS schools will be closed Monday Dec 11 and Tuesday Dec 12. As of 11:55 a.m., the Montgomery County EMA reported Clarksville has a total of 675 damaged structures. There were 65 with minor damage, 339 with moderate damage, and 271 severely damaged, causing them to be uninhabitable. Out of the severely damaged structures, 91 were completely destroyed. As if 12/17/23: four people have died as a result of the tornado.

Clarksville, Tenn. - In the daylight, the damage that occurred in Clarksville can be seen clearly. The following video shows most of the areas damaged by the tornado. Each area has been captioned to avoid confusion. Other areas were either already filmed yesterday or are closed off due to debris in the road or police only allowing residents to enter to their homes.f
How sad to hear that Tennessee and towns surrounding the Tornado my daughter disown me Cause I didn't know something as devastating such as a Tornado touch down in Nashville. Life is short and I took care of 6' grown kids when we had a bad storm in Spfld, IL back in June 2023 that was terrible to I can only amagine how thoses ppl are feeling we experience something so scary that I thank God for all kids and nieborhors was find my son has Autism it wasn't easy on me... Ppl had ways of casting out the most dearest person in your life. Looking at the photos is unbelievable and my daughter don't want anything to do with me I pray that thoses ppl will be able to heal hopefully one day I will be able to visit Nashville Tn.
The unpredictable dangerous power of nature. Sad for people who are the victims of these catastrophic events.
