You should always allow welds to cool slowly. Quenching with water can cause the joint to harden and could crack and fail later.
Hi thanks for liking!! Yes we do let welds dry without water what you may have seen was some cooling down with water of a just cut piece

His this is the original Monoshock but I will replace it with a more modern Yamaha R1 rear shock with the adapter for it. Thanks
