  • Yoko was so frustrated because she couldn't interject her opinion and perspective. Especially because she knew the interviewer was there for john, and he knew it too. So he spoke up. But one can see clearly that yoko wanted to both control the narrative and control john. His only private peace from her was when the world was watching. Betcha he was in trouble after that interview was over.

    • Ha ha ha, you’re probably right. Even her son said she was an extremely strict mother imagine her frustration with trying to be a star like john, and nobody was interested in the slightest and how much anger and resentment she aimed at him.

    • It's really kind of cringe watching these old interviews where Yoko is constantly trying to interject herself into the interview when it's clear that neither the interviewer or the audience cares about her opinion. She was simply unwilling to be like other musician's wives, to show some humility, and understand and know her place in the background, being supportive.

They collaborated on their artistic life together, and she opened up John's consciousness. She literally was a witch, so she understood spiritual and occult concepts. And she was a woman, and in case you haven't realised that means she was very aware and formidable. Her thoughts and words and behaviours influenced John massively.

And all because he left a band? Its just a band at the end of the day. He wasnt happy anymore. If you loved John..then you need to be on board with Yoko too because he loved her and she made him happy. Isn't that what should matter most? Big deal that the Beatles broke up. Bands break up all the time and the members go on to make music on their own. I've always loved John Lennons music as a solo artist. People need to stop with the hatred.

Yoko Ono had lived so long in USA that she interrupts constantly. A trait of American people. Your chat show hosts are the same. Bloody Hell it's not about you. John was clearly frustrated. Wasn't it his interview? The sad thing is, John loved USA and there's nothing wrong with that. That's why he moved there a short time after this. I also love USA and its people. However I recognise its shortcomings. I sincerely believe, no bloody crank would have shot him, if he'd stayed in the quiet peaceful county of Surrey. Why? We can't buy guns. Police don't carry them in everyday life. Yes for terrorist problems but nothing else. Salutations, from Kensington and Chelsea; in London. 🇬🇧 🤝 🇺🇸

  • Loved the way he threw everyone who had taken drugs under the bus. He was the biggest user of all time. Now he’s Saint John. What a hypocritical prat.

  • Lennon knows fuck all what he's on about. 'Working Class Hero' - he was the only middle class one. 'Imagine' - written on a 72 acre Georgian house. No problem with those songs, but don't lecture people. He's only a fuckin art student who got lucky.

    • Lennon came from a broken home parents abandoned him after both Fred & Julia couldn’t agree on who should have him where he should live - Fred went back to sea Julia met another man had two daughters as well as a third who was adopted- he was left with his Aunt Mimi- He lived near an orphanage at Strawberry Fields Al Always that’s where he could have been- he didn’t know where his Father was and at school was mocked for being a bastard- no father! - He reconnected with his mother at 15 -who did live in a council house- He needed to live in a wealthy isolated environment because he would he have been harassed - in the end he was murdered
