This story isn’t adding up bcs you cannot take a child out of the country without a TRAVEL CONSENT FORM FOR MINOR CHILD. So the parents had to give the woman permission to take him out of the country. That’s how it is done in the USA so I feel in the UK it’s the same.

How can you justify keeping a child that is not related to you by blood and resisting the real parent from taking him back without a ransom? That is called false imprisonment and hostage taking. Even if they handed the kid to her initially, but now that they want him, he must be released. Humans are not materials that you can hold as mortgage, it is against the law even if the child is a Nigerian citizen and not British, it is against human conscience to hold people against their wish. That is why doctors cannot detain a patient that is unable to pay medical bill.
