You knew it was going to happen and here it is. Adam finally has a chance to get an NR out on the road for a proper Sunday ride. The Honda NR is about as Iconic as it gets, and remains a marvel of design and technology to this day. Needless to say, Adam gets a little excited in this one!
This particular NR is also the cover bike of our new Iconic Motorbikes 2021 Wall Calendar: bit.ly/2HEtCSU
Imagine showing up at your local Honda dealer for a tune up, I’m sure the service manager would need an under ware change.
Imagine showing up at your machine shop wanting to overbore the cylinders to rebuild it!
FINALLY a video on KZhead worthy of this legendary bike. Thank you !
Glad you liked it!
I love how over engineered the kickstand is! And everything about the bike as well! Great content guys
Yeah, the kickstand is one of my favorite parts of this bike. It is just so extra!
It's such a riot! The good old days when manufacturers were just letting their imaginations go wild! Hope to see those days again
@@IconicMotorbikes ever motorbike should have that design of kickstand, its incredible!
Who doesn’t remember this bike in the magazines when it first came out. Truly Iconic and a great video to show it off
Thanks so much! Going to keep improving by having fun so far!
i discovered this bike today and i think it's absolutely... incredible. The detail on the kickstand, the beautifull design of the fairing, the exhaust, the swingarm and the rear rim, I'm out of breath !
i remember when it came out, took the motorcycle world by storm,
Adam. Thank you again for sharing #112 during my visit to Iconic. It was a day i will never forget. To finally see, hear and sit on that bike was fantastic last year. Your enthusiasm for Iconic shows through as well as the people that work with you. Thank you for the ride along video. It was magical.
Always a pleasure brother! Thank you for the nice message, wonderful way to start the week :)
Thank you for making real world footage of this legend.
Very nice! I remember this bike when it was introduced and the magazines doing a review on it, I saw one in person back in the day but it was way outside my price range. My love for motorcycles and their history actually the 1987 VFR750R (RC30) and 1988 Honda Hawk GT (RC31) were some of the first bikes to have the single sided swingarm similar to todays styling.
Great channel. You should do more videos showcasing these awesome classic bikes
Awesome bike! Thanks for the ride. 👍
What a beautiful motorcycle! Timeless 30 years old machine!
So badass, I had a diecast one as a kid. As an adult I assumed it was a cbr and my memory of it was just mixed with something else but the black bottom with the lettering on the red paint and exhaust out the back and the shape of the front fairing are by far one of my favorite looks deff a bucket list bike for sure
Amazing footage , what an awesome machine, thanks homey 😎🙋👍
Thanks for taking us on a ride on such and Iconic Motorbike.🔥
Our pleasure!
Great upload! Looking forward to future content!
Thanks! A lot more to come!
It's certainly iconic. Two were at my event at Donington on Friday parading the track.
Another video, another great time! Thanks guys !
Thank you my friend
It was the last time I saw Mr SENGOKU riding as a martial bike on the course of the 8-hour endurance road race at Suzuka Circuit in 2003, and I haven't seen the MR750 running since then. This is a supreme work of art created by the Japanese
sweet ride man!!!
what a gorgeous looking bike
sounds like a 4l banger combined with a shifter kart, pure goodness
Great Video👍🏻The NR is a Beauty🤩
Great bike, and video!
Amazing dash
Love this, looking forward to move video's.
Glad to hear it. A lot more to come! - Nathan
I was lucky enough to see one in Suffolk, England last year at a motorbike show, and it was raining!
NR750, my favorite sportbike of my childhood, I was got my model NR750.
I love this bike! Awesome content on the channel
Thank you for watching!
I love the windscreen ... I run the Magical Racing supercoat windscreen on my zx10 and old 1199r and they are unreal clear .. just a bit pricey . When I fly out your way in Fed/March for work I want to stop in and say hi and check out a NC35 if you have any. It’s Pharmfedson btw . Your living the dream bro keep it up so I can continue to live victoriously through you 😂
Thanks for the upload. There is precious few modern videos of these things. I've only ever seen one in the flesh, and that was at the Honda museum in Motegi. Edit: I just noticed your camera guy has an F900r. Clearly a man of good taste. (I have one too. 😅)
Definitely need to visit this meet on holiday one year looks awesome compared to uk
Beautiful bike!!
Dream bike. along with the RC30. (And this man rode these two... You lucky b..... ^^)
I just love that Honda red
It doesn't need to be on the road to appreciate it, just sitting in the living room would be just fine, what a bikr.
Such a cool bike 😎 that dash 👌🏻 and when you pull up at the wearhouse my mouth was open with shock 😮 wow 😍
HAHAHHAHA...that part made me laugh too :)
@@IconicMotorbikes i heard it has to do with our climate and sheer amount of road traffic. The asphalt gets bad when it barely rains and gets dry, then suddenly it rains a lot for a little bit. Couple that with the heavy traffic in california, its bad for the roads. Also the state is BIG so theres a lot of road to repair. I've been seeing a lot more freeway work done nowadays but theres a lot of road to cover in cali
Back when this thing came out, my local dealer, in the middle of nowhere in The Netherlands (Safe Motoren, Staphorst), had one of these for sale! It cost 10 times as much as a CBR 600 F.
Phenomenal bike
You need to do more videos like this , please
We are working away on it. More is on the way :)
You have the rarest piece of machine in that Malibu big parking lot!
I remember when this one came out. Very, very expensive, but great technology.
underrated channel and video
Great video 👍 NR 750 ❤️
So beautiful its my dream bike
Wow! I had forgotten all about that bike. I can't remember if I've ever seen video of it! Catching the briefest glimpse of the bit of green and red on the bike on the left 4:10, I instantly thought BIMOTA! Are they still around and do you have any! Remember the Tesi, and wasn't there a Tuatara :)
That red/white/green bike is actually a Ducati Panigale, but we do have several Bimotas! We've sold a couple of Tesis and V-Dues, and we also have a 0-mile SB8R as well as a Santamonica. We love our Bimotas, and we also have a Tesi 3D currently available for sale: iconicmotorbikeauctions.com/auction/2008-bimota-tesi-3d-with-137-miles/ Here's some other Bimotas we've recently sold: iconicmotorbikeauctions.com/auction/1995-bimota-tesi-1d-ef/ iconicmotorbikeauctions.com/auction/1998-bimota-v-due-with-0-miles/ Thanks for watching!
awesome bike
Liking the dream 🤙🏾
Super amazing😍🤩
Very nice Bike. A dream
It's my new favourite
Love that structure from the tank to the fairing, what does it help with? Tucking in or reinforcement?
Ram-air
😊 the handsome boss on his 750 NR !😂🇨🇵🤘
Oh god, i finally can see iconic at yt after all this time can only see ur bike at instagram!! Auto subss!!!
Thanks for the sub! More to come. - Nathan
Wish I was cruising in Malibu, that's my favourite weather, I'm English so I don't like it too hot or cold 😄
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 …. Epic machine
I’m still jealous every time I watch
What’s going on with the one you painted black?
i'm from indonesia : beautyful bikes i lovin id TQ for the vlog
Such a cool bike I have seen one in person and it's so bad ass . I mean today's Ducati's V4 Street Fighter is a better looking bike or The mighty MV dragster with the red rims and black spokes is my all time most beautiful bike ever The Lewis Hamilton edition is truly a sight to be seen . This bike tho when it came out it was so exotic. Now you look at the tail section and it's like well I could use some storage there .
When you were getting up in the high rpm's the engine sound echo'd something like the "big bang" Honda GP 500's in the the 90's!!! There maybe an engine development connection between those bikes..?
I think the NR was even-firing. The big-bang engines were 2-stroke. A big-bang configuration in a 2-stroke is probably just a normal day at the office for a 4-stroke. My understanding is the NR team and NS teams at Honda were mostly separate. The NR500 was a Manhattan Project type undertaking to drag 4-strokes back into competition, whereas the NS was a small 2-stroke side project to hedge their bets in case the NR couldn't catch the Yamahas and Suzukis. The NS proved way more successful, eventually taking over and becoming the monstrous NSR series including the big-bang bikes. The NR project got this super sexy 750 street bike as a sort of going-away present and love letter.
Get naked and have a beer on it😂😂😂 Classic line Adam ❤
Next iconic 2 stroke bike please.
Do you still have 4 NRs?
Stunning piece of engineering, made at the pinnacle of Honda's motorcycle innovation. The Honda V4 engines are like a Swiss watch.
Really hard to go wrong with a Honda. Out of all the brands we work on (and we work on them all), rarely find any gremlins with Hondas!
@@IconicMotorbikes If you had to pick one bike to own for the rest of your life what would it be?
@@autistic.adventurer, that's such a hard question to answer. To be honest, i would pick CBR1100XX Blackbird.
@@alifwibisono1000 I have owned 2 Blackbirds, one carb and one FI. They where both fantastic bikes but I preferred the carb version, more raw and smoother than the FI. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Love my little VFR 800 5th gen I own at the moment
@@autistic.adventurer, that's amazing. Do you also have CBR1000F?
Very nice! I only saw once personally, in the 90's. Lovely. Years later I had a nsr 125, 2strokes, inspired on this bike. For how much are these things going nowadays?
We've sold two on our auction site in the last couple of months, one for $125,832 and one for $131,182.
@@IconicMotorbikes nice! I remember hearing 50.000$ in that era (90's). Anyway, thanks! Please do a similar video on a Bimota 500vdue. Maybe already on the channel, sry if it is. Cheers!
@@Vapod sadly, not yet. We've received two V-Dues, both with zero miles so we didn't want to ride them. One was a runner that we sold, the other does not run currently and it's in our display hall at the shop!
@@IconicMotorbikes sure.
Basically an unicorn. Wish I can see one, one day....
HONDA NR750 is No,1 bike‼️🏍💨
0:55 “14 years of research and development”. No wonder people said that NR stands for Never Ready.
iconic motorbike indeed !! 31 years after , it's still hi tech
17:29 - whoa whoa, too much information.
❤️
Gerçekten mükemmel motosiklet
Another fantastic example of Japanese engineering!
crazoiest bike from honda
Kilometres are better than Miles, everyone likes higher velocities, and, all your rides are longer too! Sweet ride, excellent video. "I've got four of these..." Nice!
In my defense, one is on consignment! I'm very aware of my problem :)
@@IconicMotorbikes I hear the first step to a solution is acknowledgement of the problem. Don't ever change!
Tbh iconic but forgotten
What an awesome machine, it's just a pity the roads over there are in such bad condition to enjoy it properly.
You're so right...CA roads are in so bad. Weird deal too as it's just a tax heavy state
It's like a v8 4 chamber 😄
"This is where the 916 swing-arm came from...". Erm... no it didn't!
Honda is the best motor manufacturer in the world. ( as far as cars go)

The bike .the cars the people the ride the roads are just Cool Hand Luke Cool . thanks
The screen is coated with titanium that's why it give off the blue colour.
to build this bike the Japanese were inspired by the old 8-cylinder guzzi.
The ELF system was a French development no?
I believe so, I heard from someone at Honda that quite a bit of development came out of Europe so I'm not entirely sure what he was referring too but I believe ELF was French, I'm sure someone will help us, I'd like to know also
@@IconicMotorbikes ELF is indeed French - here's a good read on the developments their race team brought to the world of endurance racing if anyone is curious: www.motorcyclistonline.com/elf-racing-elf-motorcycle-chassis-designs-retrospective/
😍😍😍😍😍👌✌
WTF!!! That is some *serious* bike porn @15:36
It's better now! We've since moved into a bigger hangar so we can fit even more bike porn!
I. WANT. ONE. OF THOSE. AND. I PAY CASH. I WONDER IF. I FIND. ONE. TO AD TO MY COLLECTION...IS. A. AWESOME BIKE
Juan - please email abhi@iconicmotorbikes.com if you're interested in a NR750 for your collection!
Amazing roads, over here the roads are a disgrace
Obviously NOT short of $$$$....3 NR750 in garage !!!!! .....lol
What a machine.... so sexy.. such great design... If they would catch you doing 100kph within urban limits they would take your license and matter of transportation and hit you with a massive fine and a courtdate, where i'm from.
If I had four of these, I would let you borrow one. Just sayin...
what does an NR sell for these days?
Yes
Mecum 2 years ago $165,000
1 idiot dislikes Thank you guys !
Stunning, once i get rid of the wife and all her rubbish, I'm going to get one.
It’s just some money..Not the bike itself for its engineering or power. He is riding too slow and very careful.lol 😂
Well i guest you can only 40 mph , you know talking on the bike.
