  • im a new jiu jitsu viewer and ive seen all of gordon ryan's matches and randomly clicked on this video; Michael Pixley has by far been the most entertaining fighter for me to watch so far, he actually got me excited and invested in his victory. You can just see his wrestling background and he's ready to lunge at any time with ridiculous speed and precision.

    • The announcers explained why he didn't get the sweep. I see why people feel like he did though, an argument can be made there. When it comes to the final decision, its pretty clearly Pixley. Bradley did nothing in the first 14:45 to advance the match, Pixley had multiple pass attempts and almost took his back. Bradley didn't even try to move forward. In overtime, he had a couple late shots, but for most of OT he was walking backwards and even got called for passivity. Judges probably felt the almost back take and pass attempts outweighed the almost sweep, passivity and shots at the end.

  • It kind of sucks that playing such a defensive standup game (not truly engaging and just defending take down attempts) is a very rewarding strategy. The big guy takes the risk of shooting for the legs twice and both times he pays a dear price. I would prefer to let anyone pull guard without being penalized.

  • That Bradley vs. Pixley match was lame. Pixley did nothing but stall and then the ref did not give Bradley the sweep. It was a sweep, in every rule set. So pathetic, it makes me angry.

    @loveistheonlything3626@loveistheonlything362619 күн бұрын
    • In what way did he stall? he was pushing the offense with sub attempts and pass attempts the entire match - Bradley played a passive guard game not even trying to buttscoot forward. Say what you will about the sweep points but saying he stalled is just wild
