MORE ABOUT ME
I'm Anne of All Trades. In NASHVILLE, I have a woodworking, blacksmithing and fabrication shop, a selection of furry friends, and an organic farm. Whether you've got the knowledge, tools, time or space to do the things you've always wanted to do, everything is "figureoutable."
I became "Anne of All Trades" out of necessity. With no background in farming or making things, I wanted to learn to raise my own food, fix things when they break and build the things I need.
8 years ago I got my first pet, planted my first seed and picked up my first tool.
My goal is to learn and share traditional techniques and skills while showing my peers how to get from where they are to where they want to go, how to do the things they are passionate about, and what can be done TODAY to engage their own community and grow deep roots.
Whether it's carving spoons, making my own hand tools, restoring my antique truck or growing heirloom tomatoes, the farm and workshop definitely keep me busy and support - whether financially through Patreon, through shopping my affiliate links, through buying merchandise, plans or project videos, or even just liking, commenting, and sharing my content with others helps me GREATLY to keep producing quality content to share.

Thanks for letting us be spectators! You're amazingly calm. Congratulations! Is there anything cuter than baby goats?!
Baby otters for sure
Jeffery is the King. > Strong and Healthy..... but his Coloring is why you have such gorgeous kids! The Dark coloring are amazing.
There’s nothing cuter than frisky baby goats. I hope your hand is healing well.🎉🐐
I love how the donkey and goat were comforting you in your moment of sadness over the baby goat. I love how perceptive animals are….
Anne, my experience in raising animals on a farm is that you loose one every once in a while, be it mistake in the process or just nature taking it's course. Some people I've met say that can't do it anymore and have backed away from having livestock. For myself I swallow the pain as much as I can and renew my focus on those critters who still depend on me. The joy of being a part of bringing new life into this world hopefully eases the burden of loosing one. Thanks for showing us it all. Thanks for Sharing!
the little tail wags! baby goats are the cutest!
Mental health is really really important...
Man baby goats are the best
I for one am thrilled to see your hand healing and your dexterity coming back! I’ve been wondering about that and thinking of you for the past month! Thanks for bringing us along for the birth of those babies! Anyone who doesn’t believe in the Lord could learn a lot from watching this on so many levels. You’re an amazing human Anne and we’re all better from being allowed to share in your life!
Congrats Grandmother!
I only just recently found your Channel from my friend Erika but the few videos I’ve watched I’ve learned a lot and also found your sense of humor to be hilarious. 😂 “see the licking? this is how Adam finishes his ice cream every night.” lol!!
So glad you’re here!
This year, one of my sheep had super-floppy ears. he looked a lop-eared rabbit-sheep
This video was such a joy to watch
I just love how connected to the animals is amazing! 100% on the mental health! Take care of yourself - It's the most important person to take care of! Much love!!
Oh my! The dancing fuzzy babies!!! That doesn't get any better! Congratulations! :) Thanks for sharing.
I love your personality around your animals. You are so much fun to be around. And you are a good animal mamma. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
I love how the last one she seemed genuinely confused for like ten seconds like “Where tf did THAT come from- oh.” 😭🤣
Baby goat sounds... reminds me of kidding time here a few years ago... As much as I enjoyed the goats though, I will not, can not go down that path again. I will live vicariously through Anne and her herd. What joy!
What lively little babies and they are so adorable.
I held my breath for almost the whole video. Anne you are a great Mom to Dolly Parton and her new babies. So wonderful to watch all the animals in the barn!🐐
I'm so sorry about your friend. Thank you for talking about and bringing into the light something so important. Much respect to you for your raw honesty. We lost our 36y.o. son Johnny to suicide in 2019. He was married with 2 kids. I'm trying to figure out who I'm suppose to be now. Just found your channel and love it. Thank you for all you bring
My heart goes out to you and your family. Depression is a liar and a thief.
Thank the Lord it all went well, I was worried that your exhaustion levels. 🙏🏼 Now you and Adam go and get some well deserved rest. 🥰 Can't wait for the names😊
Thumbs up, and thanks for posting.
I like to make a heating barrel for my baby goats to help be sure that the heat source never touches bedding
My gosh, i can't wait for my girls to kid! Hoping my one girl has triplets, we'll see, that woman does have a mind of her own
I rarely even witnessed a birth of my goats or sheep, and the mommas all take care of everything. Heat is unnecessary unless temps are below freezing.
Nothing better than baby goats, she is a very good momma. Great job
Goats are too cool, good luck, best wishes.
❤ OMG I lost my first goat kid didn't even know she was having it till too late sad but then two more came with joy.. FARM LIFE very rewarding 🎉
What a ride! Thanks for taking us with you 😃
wow four goatlets. That is so special!! So much happiness so quickly! 🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
Amazing, watching birth never gets old!
You’re amazing!
your hand is better! So happy for you.
An update on the hand is incoming next week, unfortunately I’m still quite a ways (and likely another surgery) out from being entirely better, but, despite a lot of pain and other complications, at least I have a lot of mobility back, and for that I’m very thankful.
@AnneofAllTrades i will keep a prayer 🙏 for your full recovery. Your doing such a great job and i love your great videos
Wow that is wonderful!!! Congrats!!! Good to see you and looks like your hand is doing better.
Adam eating ice cream reference made me gafaw! 😅 You are amazing! Dolly is amazing!!!! Y'all get some rest🎉
i was using reptile emitter bulbs when i used the lambing lamp. it is less likely to catch fire than a heat bulb.
Smart!
Congratulations on the beautiful healthy babies!!!
So happy for you growing bigger! 💚
so joyful to see
Congratulations!
Congrats!
They're all beautiful and gorgeous 🥰😍 and beautiful momma
Congratulations on such Beautiful Babies. Thanks for taking us along. Peace from WV
Beautiful babies
*Anne & Adam, thanks for taking us along on this ride to see 4 baby goats being born. Wow once they start giving birth, they sure do pop out fast... BTW, Dolly Parton has just released a new Rockstar album.... so one should be named 'Rockstar'.... maybe one also named 'RocknRoll' since the album is a Rocknroll album.. 🙂.*
Never mind the kids, you just popped onto my feed, I clicked, and I fell in love with YOU, Anne! Love your personality! Great video! Subscribed. 😊
Wow! You're an amazing young lady Anne!
Love everything u do.
Congratulations
Awww thanks for sharing this was beautiful.
Interesting! Congratulations.
It was so cool seeing the birth of 4 bundles of joy. you are amazing care taker, I noticed you are using your hand more how about an update on it.
Oh my! I so miss having goats on the farm!! I feel a Christmas gift idea coming on!!😂
I completely agree with you about the stigma around speaking out about mental health. It makes it very hard for people with either autism or PTSD (or both) to feel comfortable talking to people who are meant to help them because they have basically been trained to not talk to anyone about their issues and to keep them inside. Which leads to a lot of the suicides among the people affected. (I only know this because I have both autism and PTSD.)
Howdy’s like a BIG emotional support dog, I think he would’ve been happy to sit on your lap 😂 ❤
He has, many times, and it’s a miracle I can still walk 😂😂
@@AnneofAllTrades 😂😂 what a cutie
If I had a nickel every time Anne thought Jolene was giving birth…😜
You’d have a lot of nickels 🤪
Congrats on 4 babies
Was thinking of you for the past couple of days and hoping all was well. Turns out that things were in fact quite well (on balance)! Happy for the mamas and the babes and the bipedals who can now get some rest...or at least be entertained by baby-goat-adorableness while not resting.
This was oddly super thrilling! 😂 thank you for sharing your hard parts and the beautiful
Congratulations on your new babies, love your videos and you are such a wonderful inspiration! I’ve been raising NDs for 15 yrs in East Tn and know of at least one other breeder that has had 7 born in 1 litter. Jill Thomas of the Sinai Thunder herd in KY, had 7 born several years ago and all 7 survived. I have had 6 twice, quints probably a half a dozen times and quads more times than I can remember, triplets and twins are very common here.
That’s so insane! I’ve had 6 live, quints and quads tons of times too. I wonder if any of them share lineage?
You truly amaze me! I want your life, albeit I’m way past the age that I have even a little bit of your amazing energy! God bless!!❤️
beautiful life
Awww beautiful babyies goats
Our family has been waiting for April (er, Jolene) to give birth.
😏😏
Anne, Whew! Glad things finally came to successful conclusion for you guys. You can de stress now. LOL! Hope your hand turns out equally successful. Lots of goat's milk.
Congratulations!!! On such cute healthy baby goats. I had one give birth to 7 this past March. Sadly after so many sleepless nights of checking on her. She had them about 6am without me, I had been to the barn at 3am and nothing was happening. They were super tiny, and I think because they were so small, she had them so fast that she couldn't get them cleaned off in time. 4 were up and fine, 2 had passed, one still in the sack. Then something really odd happened. She passed her placenta, and then delivered the 7th baby. This was her 3rd kidding. 2 the first time, 1 the second time. Then 7. In no way was expecting 7. I also referred to a couple of my does as April the Giraffe hehe
Great video! God bless you for your tender caring ways with your goaties n all your animals. Did your mama produce enough milk or did you have to supplement?
👍 cool of you to share
Lol i just found your channel..i usally watch blue catus dairy goats or weed em and reap i like your channel too..subbed lol
Yeah ❤ So sweet…adorable… great job mothers…😉
Congrats on quads first time around. You may well expect to match or break that world record in subsequent freshenings as they tend to have more kids each time.
That’s what I figure. Her mom was that way, which isn’t necessarily something I’d want to keep breeding into our lines, but since her mom always had unassisted births with zero intervention needed and always had plenty of milk for her kids and more, without any pregnancy or postpartum issues, all of which were DEFINITELY traits worth keeping.
My girl gave me 8 this year i had to bottle feed 4. They where so small and some didnt walk till a week old.
Wait. EIGHT?! Is she nigerian? Did they all live????
Congrats on the Girl Power Goats grate to see...if you are selling any Goats there is a Vlog channel called Grandpa Doss Farm he is looking for new Goats as he just lost an Goat of his herd... He wants to get small ones like yours he lives in America they would have a great life as pets... He would like to get some that he gets to know the family and knows we're they come from as in back ground...yours look so cute...anyway please get in contact with him if you are selling them in the future... Love this new vlog I have just found...❤❤❤
How's the hand doing??
I’m new to this and I’m about to breed my first does next week. What injection were you talking about? I’ve heard of people giving a mild sedative when they disbud to help with stress, but you said she died of tetnus, do you give Cd&t typically when you disbud? Do you think she got tetnus from the disbudding? I’m sorry if my questions seem insensitive, they’re not meant that way. I’m just trying to learn. I’m very sorry that you lost a kid, that is devastating 😢
Don’t worry about it, we are all always learning, some lessons are more painful than others, but it’s certainly not the first animal I’ve had to bury and won’t be the last. The phrase “if you have livestock, you’ll have dead stock” is very true. The vaccine I was talking about was CDT and it is absolutely crucial for all goats. Yes I do think she got it from the disbudding procedure, but tetanus also lives in the soil and is everywhere so it could have been from a variety of other places too.
We put down news paper
My goodness you got lucky with that many does. My goats gave me nothing but bucks 😢
WOW CONGRATULATIONS ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE GOATS SO CUTE ❤❤❤❤❤
careful what you wish for, they like to get into trouble and are good at it!!
How did mama stuff 7 babies in her? Those babies are pretty big
Very Nice
me encanta yo quiero mi granja 😊 como tú ...aunque no entiendo nada por el idioma😅
what breeds are the dogs ?
You said your goat was from of the Fairywood herd line? Mind if I ask about the pedigree with that doe?
Nice beautiful Goat kids happy farming new subscriber here pls. Thankyou and Godbless ❤❤❤❤🙏
Lovely thumbnail.
❤❤❤❤
First baby was literly double the size compared to the second..
Your confused me for a second. I thought you meant Jolene from weed em and reap dolly Parton 😂
How the heck did I get here said the baby
😊👍🏼🐐👊🏼
Oh, Jeffrey 🤣
New viewer 😊
Glad you’re here!
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 babies
😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What happened to the arm?.?😮
I don't happen to agree that breeding a lineage that has 7 babies is a good idea.
If you keep watching you’ll see that I absolutely agree with you. The number of babies is not what I’m working towards, it’s milk quality. Jolene’s mom produced a gallon per milking of 14% butterfat milk. Best milk I’ve ever had, but a horrible temperament, so when Jolene was born, I swapped her with a much more mild tempered mama.
😮😮😮😮😮😊
Wait, Maury Povich was the father?
