Working Roulette Table 🍀 | Minecraft Java 1.20+ Redstone Tutorial
In this video, I show you how to build my working Roulette minigame. It allows you to bet on a color of your choice, spins for a random amount of time and then gives out individual prizes depending on the result.

I’ve built one roulette machine that’s like an insane computing device, you can pay 0-15 of the payment item, the win chance is 1/4 while your winnings can be adjusted. I set it as a multiplicatior of x2 to your payment(min 1 Diamond max 15 Diamonds). Mine is also foolproof since if you construct something like this on a server with protection against griefing other protections for example debugmode are essential (that just resets all set data inside the machine incase it somehow stops working. This always works in case you Play and somehow only load one side of the machine. I love redstone so much and your design kinda gave me some inspiration so great job!

Hello. I just wanted to say that your redstone on this build is awesome! I LOVE how you did the randomizer! And the way you used the lectern signal strength minus the cauldron signal strengths to get an output power of 1 was positively inspired! I've never really created a project that used a comparator in subtract mode (that I can remember at any rate). I've got to say that I've learned a ton of new redstone tricks with this machine. Thank you so much for sharing it with us! .... the only problem is, I've never played the java version of Minecraft. So, it took me about a week to convert it into Windows 10/Bedrock edition. It was not quite as easy or straight forward as some of your commentators have said 😅. Still, I think I succeeded in retaining as much of your original concept and design as possible. It looks great and is fun to play! Again, Thank you!

After rebuilding it two times I can confirm it completely works in 1.19. I recommend using litmatica or another mod like that to save some sanity. It is VERY easy to miss something, but the end reward is worth it.

Initially, this tutorial didnt work for me; but that's because I messed up on a slab placement. Then Rexxstone came onto my server and fixed all my broken machines (that were broken due to Spigot) and made them better! Thank you, truly, Rexxstone!
What was the issue with this machine? I'm too playing on a Spigot server and a cauldron keeps breaking a piece of the redstone line due to timing issues with the other piston. If you could share how the machine was made Spigot-compatible I would be deeply grateful.
Awesome tutorial and an awesome machine! I have a little suggestion, do everything to the droppers/hoppers that can’t be picked up from schematica or similar mods at the end of the building tutorial. This would make it much easier for people that just download the word download and make it elsewhere.

Working on 1.20.1 (Paper server if anyone cares). Was very very careful, basically paused the video every second he placed a new block and got it working first try. Thanks for the great build!

Weirdly meditative tutorial to build, I love it. You definately deserve more subscribers with the time and effort you put in, so well done. Also my machine seems to only register black as a win whether or not I change the block type. What system should I check to make sure I didn't miss anything?
Thanks! Check the purple and lime circuits for any mistakes. Also, make sure the comparator at 17:15 in the video is in subtraction mode! :D

Hey Rexxstone! Really amazing Roulette Table, best one i´ve seen! Do you think it´s possible to make a multiplayer variant of that though. So like each player gets a "cell" where they can make their bets and choose color and then the roulette just spins for everyone and they win depending on what they set on. That would make for even more fun on servers!
That sounds like an awesome idea! Due to the way this roulette table is wired, it isn't really possible with this one though. :/ Would probably require a complete redesign, and I don't really have the time for that at the moment D: Thanks for the kind words and the amazing suggestion though!

I was thinking about the same idea and looking forward to modify this roulette in order to do so, but i got so lost because i don't have the redstone knowledge, if you're looking forward for help for the multiplier version i would love to try and help to learn. i need to understand the machanism so hard right now.

Check the dark green circuit for any mistakes. This may be timing related, so pay close attention to the repeaters in particular!
I just found your channel and man it’s great! This worked amazing! But then I rejoined the world, and now I pay, it spins, but the payout system is no longer activated when it lands on a color. After testing, it doesn’t ever activate anymore. I used the same colors for my lines as you did, do you know where the problem may be?
The lime and green circuits are responsible for the win detection, check those first! In theory it could also be some issue with the light blue or purple one, but that's pretty unlikely...

I have a problem, my mechanism works, but sometimes it decides what it should give out, for example, sometimes on a green block it does not give out 10 diamond blocks, and sometimes it gives it out! i followed the tutorial and i built this roulette twice to be sure , it works but the probleme is that diamonds block are stuck in the hopper right above the shulker box , so i have to take out manually one diamonds block or the roulette wont stop , the hopper contains 1 diamonds block ,18 dirts renamed "ifjdfidfs^dspo" and 3 other dirt's renamed blocks , idk what is the issues please help me 😢

At 20:51 when you put that repeater, I didn't have any repeaters left, even though I followed your item list and crafted enough repeaters at the beginning. So now I fear that I might have placed a repeater instead of a comparator somewhere, which means I have to rewatch the whole video from the beginning while examining my circuits to find out where I messed up....

Oh My Rexx, you can't imagine the pain i went through man, I was building this then i had to dig out a chunk then THERE WAS WATER! I had to channel my inner redstone prowess (which is non-existent btw) to solve it so i placed random redstone torches at places where i thought it should be there. Then it WORKED!

Hi Rex, love the video and it is a great design! I do have a question though, it was working for a bit but for some reason the gold block keeps landing on the bottom left and top right corners, like the ball is moving a set distance every time. Do you know what would cause this?
Check the dark blue circuit again, it's probably some issue with the randomizer! :D
