Iam totally not in support of any person that abuses a woman physically. I used to think my husband was abusive because of alcohol, but he over come that,he left alcohol, and am just waiting for the right time to run away.am planning slowly, probably by june am out of here..will take my children.iam a victim of abuse,and from childhood i had never gave any excuse to support an abusive man.i cant allow my children grow up within this situation, i must show them the other side of life..that love wins not fights

Sorry about that, I hope you really find a way out. I agree, that alcohol can not be an excuse. It only amplifies what we already do. If a person dies tomorrow we shall be here saying what if. Personally, I do not condone abuse, they need help not enabling. Between 2012-2014, I witnessed the same ordeal, same man different woman. He was still beating the woman he had then. This one as well he beats. I hope he gets the much-needed help.

Nobody, absolutely no body can ever persuade me to tolerate an abusive man,if I stay single I stay,not in the names of "our so called children " I stay for children, like many say,what kind of children are we raising in such an environment? Personally I only have boys,I need to raise men that we surely value the women not see them as objects. I had to shift my boys to our other house in Kampala for fear of copying and growing with hatrad..that stay with my sister and the maid,we only visit them on weekends, there we pretend we are fine and ...surely they be happy to us both... When they grow up,they will know why I made this decision

@@olyviaandtheboys7788 they will thank you for that. We live in a time where people are trying to recover from that trauma because their parents stayed together in abusive homes. We have a bunch of wounded adults that are doing the same exact things. I wish the best and healing.

Beautiful Lonah we thank God for his mighty hand on you, forgiveness isn't easy , this urges parents oon doing better while dealing wz their issues amidst children. We're seeing alot of bitter pipo thinking it's da world's toughest situations dat led to dat yet its childhood trauma or experience.

Daniella said recently chameleon used to beat her ( domestic violence) that's why she ran away to the USA 5 yrs ago with the kids and is now a single mother. The Mayanja family has violent men....
