Well you have to realize, unfortunately that baby is already dead. Komodos have an anti-clotting bacteria in their mouths. Now, or in a few hours the calf will simply bleed to death.

The two buffalo parents are stupid. Yes, they're animals but they are very, very dumb. Each of them is armed with two dangerous impaling weapons on its head and four knock out hoofs, yet they stand there looking like dazed morons while a lizard devours their offspring. Wild cats, bears are much smarter and would destroy anything trying to harm their cubs.

Each of them is armed with two dangerous impaling weapons on its head and four knock out hoofs, yet they stand there looking like dazed morons while a lizard devours their offspring.
