Have you ever thought about trying to review the main volleyball shoes too? Not all of them, but maybe the top ones for the most popular volleyball brands. I would be very curious about your opinion on their difference in performance (especially stability and shock absorption due to frequent jumps) compared to basketball shoes. Some examples could be the Asics Sky Elite FF 2, Asics Metarise, Mizuno Wave Lightning and Mizuno Wave Momentum.
We definitely in a golden age of performance basketball shoes! No more just Nike being #1 everywhere, other brands showing out!

For a little less than a year I tried 4 different pairs. zoom freak 5, Lebron nxxt gen, AG4 and Two WXY V4. So far,Two WXY V4 is the best one for me and I putting a budget aside to grab a pair of BB2 as well. Your recommendations for size and fit are just perfect! I look forward to seeing more videos from you and please keep up the good work.
Yeah i agree that simple shoe NB V4 is amazing i got it on sale. I got bad knees. Need good stable cushion. Thinking about the NB bb V2 myself 🤔

Read my mind about the AE1s LOL. The fresh foam BBs surprised me! Kept guessing 'til you revealed it. I highly recommend the basketball guide as it helped me pick the best shoe for me. I'm planning to buy the AC 12s twice more in different colorways 'cause I got it for a very low price at ~$78. Li-ning would've take over the list if only they don't sell their best shoes at an insanely high price.

@@grahamcarmichael6567 you can check GOAT. I'm from the Philippines and I found a reseller who sell them at a very low price here. I think all these resellers have in common including the ones from china and GOAT is that they do something to make the prices low. You can still check the aunthenticity of li-ning shoes with the QR code in the shoe.
Ya I've been waiting for a colorway I like of the 12s cause I got the 11s super early last year then all these dope colorways & the V2s released, its on my list just waiting.
I am a heavier guy and wondering since you dont to shuttle test as much anymore. What do you think would be a good shoe either to play in + run beep test or a completely black shoe option refereeing + running beep test or is a stable running shoe just a better option still? We have beep test as physical test before season for referees, not super far like level 10.
Just received my WOW AC12. I bought orange. I had to try them. I’ve always been a KB9 fan. I’m much older now at 68. But I shoot 4-5 times a week. Haven’t worn them yet but I’m looking very forward to trying them out. Great video with fantastic information and thoughts.

I really wish I could buy the two wxy v4 but they ran out of wide sizes and never restocked. The normal width version are way too tight for me. Tried going a full size up (half size not available in 13.5) but they were way too long. New Balance needs to fix these sizing/stocking issues if they want to compete

Hey Zach! I'm wondering if you have any thoughts on the AG4 soar? I'm a wide footer and recently hurt my ankle pretty bad during the off season playing outdoors. Looking for a shoe with good bounce and landing with solid ankle support. Thinking between the WoW AC 12 at half a size up or the AG4 soar. I can't find many reviews of the soar but it looks wide and looks to have good ankle support. I hurt my ankle in an old pair of nike air versatility 2s lmaooo.

Lebron 21, new balance two wxy 4, way of wade fission 9, AE1, and asics nova surge low are the most heavy in my rotation and it’s because they’re what have been the best to me. I intend on running through the tread on all of them

I agree with that availability should be taken into account as well. With that in mind though why are you including the Kai 1s then? Honestly the same thing for the Hardens.

I actually like the list and the reasoning you provided ! Amazing job! I had a quick question for AE1. I wear size 11 for TTS fit, but the toe box area KILLED my big toes so I had to return them. Everything else I loved the shoe a lot! If I wanted to get another pair, should I go 11.5 or 12 to counter the toe box issue? I’m also going to look into the NB fresh foam bb v2 as well! I appreciate your input!
If they wont fit up 1/2 then it may just be a mismatch

@@WizzyEli I have fresh foam bb v2 and love them. Court feel is a little less than some shoes but it’s not that bad. I don’t feel super high up in them. Nothing like GT Jump 2. I also put an insole in them for more stability and they feel amazing. My favorite shoe to wear right now

@@WizzyEli yep, move insole is what I use too. Without it, the shoes feel a bit more plush. With it, the containment is much improved and the responsiveness is better. Great combination.

I was wondering what about the Nike GT Jump 2 or the Nike Lebron 21 since those shoes seem to have some of the best engineering and features to them whereas some of these shoes on the list here are kind of nice things, no? Im not a sneakerhead but maybe sb can clear that up
I didn’t like the GT Jump 2, just the cushion. Is the BB V2 a better option ?
IMO it’s the same cushion but just with a single foam - pretty impressive to me but some people would rather the feeling of the zoom air pods- just personal preference
Do you think the translucent outsole bb v2 will have better traction than the solid one? I have read some people having slipping issue with then on dusty court.

I’ve been using them for a couple weeks now, I have the navy color way with the translucent green outsole. I have slipped a bit but only on a quite dusty court and only coming to a quick stop when moving straight forward. Laterally, the traction sticks like glue even on a dusty court. If the court is clean, the traction is excellent in every direction

I gotta say New Balance just always has made straight up banger shoes. I think the FFBB1 or Kawhi 4 might be the only bad shoes they've ever made because dating back to even the Omn1s every single shoe they've released has been elite to play in. I'm super exited that the Kawhi 5 comes out so they get a chance to redeem the line after the horrible last one and i'd love to see you make a video on them!

That’s the way things are going now. Nike has been shown to charge very high prices for shoes that are performing below other brands. They use cheap materials and their shoes are not durable at all. Li-Ning and Adidas have passed them up and New Balance might be next if they keep putting out shoes like two wxy v4 and fresh foam bb v2

As a size 14, this list is really biased due to the fact that availability is so limited without buying from aftermarket. Sizes 12-16 are extremely hard to get.
Check out way of wade, lots of big sizes and even half sizes for 14s which is what I got
