  • I thought the title was exaggerated but wow, this was probably the best chess series to be played. Props to Magnus for offering a draw at the end to allow a final score of 13.5-12.5 instead of 14-12, because that is truly how close this series was.

    • Well technically he is actually not even close to being the puzzle GOAT, Ray Robson holds that title without a doubt. I think he is a 4 time consecutive puzzle world champion now, and he has outperformed Hikaru several times. Hikaru obviously crushes him in actual games but when it comes to pure puzzle solving Hikaru doesn't stand a chance.
