I feel like there’s only one exception, that was Girl Named Tom. There’s never been a trio like them ever in the competition. They were beyond phenomenal.
Zoe's sound?!!!! OMYGOD. I loved her from the auditions but she just keeps getting better!!

That’s exactly why I thought they should have come dead last in the finale. Harmonizing is where they were at their best and they just didn’t in the finals like at all.

Zoe is gonna improve every round. That's the magic of the show, so I think John did right here.

I was good friends with Zoe back in high school and she was always the sweetest, funniest, most genuine person to be around! And I think that really has showed this round!

Woah!! I don’t remember Zoe slaying this hard during her blind, but she was the clear standout. Her tone fit the song and she sounded so vocally comfortable and in her element.
I hope to see OK3 again on a different competition in the future!They each have something unique and so much to offer!

hard for me to fully appreciate after hearing kelly clarkson’s cover of Bones today. Kelly slayed it - there’s levels to this!
I feel that way about Kelly music in general even if it's cover, or her personal music. There's nothing Kelly can't kill!

All so cute, Zoe sounded great opening the song, harmony came in strong, felt good. Ok3 taking solos worked so well, each with their distinct sound that blended well. Zoe did a great job of setting herself apart, really nice vocal runs over the harmonies. - So You Wanna Be A Singer

I know Zoe won, but it could've gone either way. Zoe was able to hold her own with her beautiful vocal and amazing runs. Also, her confidence was just on another level which it had to be. OK3 did fantastic with the harmonies, as well as in their solo parts.
I watched the show from the earliest seasons and I learned groups have to bring some extra to the table to compete against solo artists. Coachs are more demandants with them every season.

Honestly, I loved this battle! I can’t get enough. I am sad and surprised that OK3 didn’t get saved or stolen. They were one of my favorite acts. Did anyone else notice that Zoe’s shoulders basically reach OK3’s heads. She is so tall.

Ok3 singing, and harmony was sensible they should win the battle rounds
People saying OK3 sounded like Zoe’s backup singer but that’s what happens when you have a group accompanying you in multiple part harmonies. But when OK3 got singled out, they were all solid and made little mistakes while you can tell Zoe had subtle trouble with her pitch at times. The more solid performance goes to OK3.
I agree completely. Zoe is lovely when she's singing more softly and adding air in her head voice, but the chest voice can get a little shouty and pitchy.
I think John made the wrong decision. I think OK3 was the better contestant. Zoe's voice, while pretty, it's weak. I also think John is not a great coach. He made this huge deal about how he arranges for groups as if he was going to be the best coach for them. I think Dan and Shay would have been so much better for them. OK3 actually sounded better this time around than their original audition.
@@victorialopez9717 I agree, I thought Dan & Shay probably would've been a better coach for them on this. I was hoping maybe Dan & Shay would steal them, but they didn't. I love "Bones" and I had high hopes/expectations for this battle and was a bit disappointed. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't as great as I thought/hoped it would be. I agree with Chance that I would've liked to see them split up the lyrics earlier on. The way it's arranged here, definitely sets up for Zoe to look like the lead vocal while OK3 are her backups. A different arrangement I think could've helped with that. Also, with the build towards the end (1:52), I was expecting Zoe to go higher and maybe get into her head voice, but it seemed like she was playing it safe. I also wonder why they don't have guest coaches helping each team anymore. Even having another guest coach for these battle rounds might have helped improve this performance.
John wasn’t a good pick for OK3, I agree Dan & Shay would’ve did better for them.
I personally preferred Zoe's performance, those imperfections add character. Around 1:50 plus when she belts, and that small delay during the breakdown, I'd prefer that over technical perfection mostly any day of the week.
I really liked OK3 but with this song it did kinda make the group sound like her back up vocals ......if anything maybe they should all become a group that would be awesome

I think individually is where they fell down because their harmonies were really good .
I assume in a trio you have to reserve some breath for the next harmony so OK3 did an amazing job, but Zoey was the clear stand out in this performance.
Zoe elevated to stand out against OK3. Loved this number. Zoe deserves to go on, for sure.

Ok3 was better tho. They had more blend. The only problem was they were kinda too relaxed and don’t make it seem like a battle but they had better grasp of the notes and Zoey sounded off sometimes
zoe sounded really bad in her audition as well, there is always someone each season where the coaches hear something no one else does

OK3 are amazing! I like them more than Sorelle and I thought they would go far due to being a four chair turn. Though this song suited Zoe more and she was more of a lead vocalist in this battle. OK3 did great with the harmonies but felt more like Zoe's backup singers. I would give it to Zoe. She has that growth arc that I love seeing. I am very impressed with her.
