Most of those living there now are Russians moved to legitimise their claim. Crimea belongs to Ukraine. Those structures are humanitarian, and it is ABSOLUTELY a war crime to hit them.

  • Twelve miles long? That’s one helluva long bridge. Its not just an epic feat or marvel of engineering, it’s also a necessary and vital route for CIVILIANS who live at either end of the bridge. Ukraine is totally wrong and just plain stupid for targeting this bridge, and if Zelensky and his brutes don’t stop pulling shit like this, he’s going to be the only one to blame if Russia hits Ukraine with a tactical nuclear weapon. Zelensky is NOT who the Western media is painting him out to be and fortunately, some Ukrainian people are waking up to this fact. Pro Tip: Never order your military to indiscriminately murder your own citizens.

  • Crimea was annexed by Russia in 1783. It has been a vital part of Russia since then. If Ukraine had not continued shutting off 80% of the water supply to Crimea since 2014, and if the Ukrainian Army had not been shooting and bombing ethnic Russians living in Eastern Ukraine since 2014, and if Ukraine had adhered to the Minsk Accords, maybe Russia would not have had to come in and protect the ethnic Russians.

Go watch the footage of the explosion. Literally 1 person died. And he was driving a military supply truck. Ukraine has been very strict about war crimes. Russia has not. Ukraine needs the support of the civilized world. Russia will never have that, so they don’t need to pretend.

    • It’s a military target since it’s essential for Russia’s military effort, but even if we granted you that point, Russia invaded and brought this on themselves. If they wanted their infrastructure to not get attacked, then don’t use that infrastructure for your military. Better yet, russia could have either not invaded or they could have left Ukraine. This is all their faults, so I’m not going to get upset that a military target gets destroyed.

Also, USA ngo organizations took poles prior to this vote that stated in would be this lopsided if it were to occur.

After seeing, 1. the coup of the government which was voted for by Crimea by nearly 70%, 2. the burnings and murders of supporters of the government by the coup supporters (this was televised by the killers). 3. the disrespect for both the law and constitution of Ukraine. and 4. finally, the military attack on several other regions that voted heavily for the overthrown government. there were international media there with video (it's easy to see just google - there are still a few up). you should do the research

    • The Autonomous Crimean Parliament supported the deposed Yanakovich and wanted him put back into power after he rigged an election and the people deposed him. (It's almost like they were corrupt and knew they wouldn't get re-elected) The Donbass Insurrection was launched by Russia, Ukraine didn't just start attacking its own civilians because they didn't support the new government. Just because a local regional government supports a different candidate for president/ruler does not make an invasion of that region justified.

Dead soldiers UA didn't collect from the fields, so they didn't have to report them as KIA, and didn't have to pay compensations to the families.
