  • No city will ever love an athlete the way Pittsburgh loves Mario. Announcer didn't even get to say his name yet, as soon as the crowd seen him the roof near blew off in the intro. That was absolutely awesome.

  • For me this was a typical season-opener. Espeacially after all that celebrations. But to be honest, we have been quite lucky. The caps had the better chances. It was just the start, unfortunately no fast and fearless. But it will come. Up the pens.

  • you're allowed to check the goalie if he has the puck out of the crease, not? why did the pens get a penalty for that? it was clean chest on chest and as i said, out of the crease with the puck

    • Skyler Ryu i checked the rulebook, you ARE allowed to cheack a goalie if he has the puck (playing it on his stick, not in his glove) and is not in the crease. Of course you'll get the shit beaten out of you by the other team but you wont get a penalty (or shouldnt get a penalty)

  • its so damn stupid how guys will just attack anyone on the other team who is just standing anywhere near their net whenever the goalie freezes the puck and gets a whistle, COMPLETELY REGARDLESS of whether or not they are even trying to whack their goalie or are doing anything remotely aggressive
