Lego WW1 battle of Verdun - German attack, 1st part. Stop motion.
The Battle of Verdun was the longest and one of the bloodiest battles of the Great War.
History Minifgiures provided by United Bricks:
www.united-bricks.com/
This history video shows the first days of the battle of Verdun.
It starts with german artillery barrage followed by infantry attack.
French suffered huge losses and could hold position for thee days.
No reinforcements, no french artillery...
On the 25th of February 1916 there was no any "trench war" anymore. Open space. Germans broke through. No trenches, no barbed wires, no machine gun nests - open field to Verdun and Paris.
This was the result of the first German strike.
Narrated by Peter Baker: www.theenglishvoiceover.com/
History brickfilm by LCM.
Hope your views will help me to make the second part one day.

When Germany went in Veteran Difficulty
Nice
does it come to the usa or only uk?
Fun fact: The Battle of Verdun marked the first time a Flamethrower (invented in the 7th century) was ever used in a battlefield. They were carried by specially-trained German storm troops who also carried numerous grenades.
Germans used them at the 2nd battle of Ypres in early 1915 so not exactly the first, but yeah, Verdun was the first time they were used on a large scale
Which make them a pretty big threat but just because it scared the allies and with the grenade well it could make a large explosion
Btw to the German if the grenade is hit the explosion will be huge
They were more like moving bombs(if they were hit)
Alot of them were also former fire brigade personel. The high command figured 'who better to deal with using fire than the people who put them out'.
i'm french, one of my ancestors died in the mud fields of Verdun, probably shot by a german sniper. i'm sure he would be proud that people as far away as russia care for the battle he died in
One of the greatest battles in the history of mankind but still I'm sorry to hear that one of your family had died there
I'm pretty sure Tolkien either went through this
Some of my ancestors were Bavarians and ww1 no doubt was a war that should never had happened too many people lost there lives for a war that just caused a second
@@anarchomando7707 he went to the Somme or others British battles of the war for sure. But there weren't any British troops deployed during the battle of Verdun. It was only French and Germans here.

love your video!
thanks :)
I like the chauchat model... nicely detailed
Love the cannon recoil!👍
Awesome my friend congrats you doing better work than a lot of movies don't do you use realism awesome mini-figures all of the clothes and guns are the guns that they had in that era and I recognize a lot of it and you show the brutal reality of the face to face battles inside the trenches that sometimes soldiers fought with whatever they had in their hands rocks blades or shovels. The reality of the last of the kind of wars with trenches and mano o mano fights inside the trenches first use of flamethrowers too it was a hell on earth so now I can't wait for the second part I really enjoy this 1 part and I would like for the French to fight back and take their positions!! Have a nice Sunday keep up the outstanding work best stop motion in the whole YT and that is not a little thing!!👏🙌👌👍✌
This is Cool!, I Love It Its So Smooth!

Great work as always!
Alright, the custom minifigs look fucking AMAZING, but it costs like 13 bucks for 1 minifig
Maybe just buy the torso and hat and use other lego piece to make a full minifigure
@@user-tg1tm9xg3l I guess that's fair, I'm probably just salty that lego's these days costs an arm and a leg
@@antilliesreviews5331 nah you aint salty they cost fr a billion
Use stickerpacks the print3d figures are to expensive you’ll waste you whole income buying them

As the drum roll started on that day, heard a hundred miles away A million shells were fired and the green fields turned to grey

Very nice, I love your videos Lego lego strip
Great video I loved it keep up the great work
This is wonderful, thank you! Just one quibble: (at the beginning) it's not very likely for a French soldier to be playing "Keep the Home Fires Burning" on his harmonica? What a magnificent piece of animation, thanks so much for making it!
Sorry, I couldnt find any french music :)
